Yup like it didn’t fit their characters or bond at all. And yes there were signs they didn’t end up together but at the same time there were signs that seemed like they would get together so I’m not overly interested in the “we should have saw it coming” conversation. I don’t know, I feel so empty and unsatisfied 😭 this show feels bitter to me right now.

Thank you. I’m pretty sure more people would be accepting of the ending if it wasn’t so rushed. Some people are trying to boil it down to everyone just wanting a happy ending but more than that a lot of us just wanted the good writing and pacing we were given the majority of the series to be there at the last 2 episodes. In my opinion the ending didn’t make sense. Im really trying to be satisfied with it but the way it was presented was just left field like I have no words but all the words to say too 😭

Also all the mixed signals like the way the break up happened the 2nd time, the set up of the 2009 interview like why all the flashbacks when she's MARRIED, why the importance of the epilogue??!!!! I mean I'm going insane like what happened??? It's like someone else wrote the last episode. It went from a show portraying hope, friendship, and youth to a show about "nothing lasts forever" in the most bitter way. And that wasn't even satisfying because Seung Wan met with the brother again at the end and even Yu-Rim could end with her 1st love when she changed her nationality+did long distance LMAO. I can't take anything serious 😭

I've never been more disappointed in a finale. Them not ending up together aside, the ending was so rushed. You're tryna tell me their bond went down the drain just like that?!! It was out of character for both of them. At least keep the friendship or connection with the bond they created and everything they told each other but nope, it was just cut like that.

Yu-Rim and Ji-Woong could work out but not Baekdo, how is this realistic like no one can convince me this last episode was satisfying 😭

THANK YOU!!! I might not be an expert in love but not everyone's first love fails!! A sad or happy ending would be realistic for this show. They don't have a "typical 1st love story" so if they work out I don't see anything unrealistic about it! To me, an ending where they're still together makes more sense considering the bond that was created since episode 1. It's soooo special which is why I think a lot of us still think they could work in the end. With all the promises they've made, I think the writers could find a way to make them endgame. What would disappoint me is them letting go only to protect their love because it gives off slight noble idiocy to me. Imma end my rant here but your paragraph is spot on 😭

OoooOoo, I loved this drama 🥰 I enjoyed it soo much!! I think it was super funny and kept me on the edge of my seat. It took a minute to feel the romance between the leads but once it started I was stuck to them 😭❤️ The ending was also so cute, one of my favorite kdrama scenes ever!!

I also love how fast paced it was and how it wasn’t the typical palace politics drama. Everything was something new that I haven’t seen before in a Saeguk drama I feel like. Overall it wasn’t without its flaws but it was absolutely worth the watch for me!! 😊

As you can see the feelings are split or more negative for this drama lol. Personally I like this drama a lot! Don't expect this to be like the Red Sleeve and serious saeguks of that nature. This is a comedy action saeguk with romance. Your preferences in humor might also affect the way you feel about the show. Overall I think you should try it for yourself and see if you like it :)

I really love Moonshine!! I think it’s pretty funny and interesting. It’s a bit messy, especially in the beginning but the good outweighs the “bad” for me by a lot. I think it’s up to personal preference with the comedy though, you should try it out!

I haven’t watched it but from what I know it’s comparable! I also see it recommended here too :)
