for real, even in the commentary of EP.1-2 with the Director at the end they were holding hands, I was like: ''wait, did I miss something?'' 😂

I love this drama and I love the bromance, I watched some interview of the main cast and it's so funny to see Go Jun & Byun Yo Han being promoted almost like the couple of this drama, seeing them holding hands in the press con was the cherry on the cake. <3

I'm not sure who put that '20 episodes' there but it's so wrong.

EP 75. Someone said EP 76, I think you can watch EP 75 and decide for yourself if you're fine with that closure, but skip for sure EP 77 (my opinion).

bluebyblue is a drama label founded by Seong Jin Shin (axis_sinxity on IG) the producer of cityboy_log; he has worked as Creative Director at YG Enternaiment for many years, and he worked on the production of Semantic Error (that's why the city boys talked about Semantic Error in one of the episodes).

and I didn't like how they forgot about the ring Ruan Lan gave to Jiu Shi in the earlier episodes and it was never mentioned again...

I can't give this a full 10 points because of the ending (how I wish I could erase EP.77 & EP.78 from my mind) and because of some of the characters dumb actions; overall I enjoyed it a lot, I liked the world of the doors with its different settings, the friendship of the Obsidian team and the relationship between Ruan Lan Zhu and Ling Jiu Shi. <3 special mention, I loved Li Dong Yuan. <3

If it's from China you should already know is gonna be bromance and not bl, why you're gettin' disappointed when we know there's censorship? production companies over there can't do much about it, but at least we can have a good bromance story.

A good investigation and male friendship drama, without unnecessary romance, & bonus I could stare at YuXi Ding's face all day. <3 but there's something missing:

-I wanted to see more scenes between Li Qing and Qiu Qing Zhi, you cast two handsome men with such a poignant past, and don't give me more bromance between them? what a waste. (It's clear QQZ has a crush on LB imo...);
-Li Qing and his cat side, I was expecting more funny moments between him in his cat form and his Court of Judicial Review teammates;
-I don't like how in the ending they didn't include Shangguan Qin, afterall she was part of the group and in the end it seemed like the production crew totally forgot about her;
-I don't like how they never addressed why the Empress is so young, in one of the earlier episode I remember someone saying ''the Empress is getting younger'' so I was expecting that maybe she also drank the Immortality Beast blood(?) we will never know.

Anyway, an easy re-watch when you feel like watching something light. <3

White deserved better, for me he should have been the only to survive this madness.

everyone saying they want Jin to be the only one to survive at the end, but I'm the only one thinking he's the most suspicious there? I will not be surprised to find out he's the mastermind behind the ''disapperance'' of Non.
