Yes she is still her own person and I am really happy that 'MQG' did not 'overwrite' her... in this life, she is a real person not just a vessel waiting for MQG memories to be downloaded back into her.... that's why I really like this story, its really about second chances, and rebirth is a new chance not just waiting for a data download lol

Its also always fun to see the "I will always love you again even if I forget you" trope being played out lol

Its not so obvious in the drama, but in the novel, it bothered Ranran very much.
Think of it this way, as a reborn person, she already has her own identity as Xue Ranran. She is not Mu Qingge, even when she remembers stuff about her previous life. So in the novel, RR was troubled if SYS loves her for her now or its just because she inherited his love for MQG.

Its valid to me that she would feel that way. Who will truly readily be like, oh yay, he loves me and just be fine with anything whatsoever?

In the drama things are kept quite PG and nothing was done to Ranran that she wasn't ready for. So I liked these changes.

According to Iqiyi schedule, they will stretch the last few eps to be 1 ep a day so it ends on Feb 26, which is the male lead Deng Wei's birthday.... aaw...

Officially we have not seen the new schedule yet but most likely will release tomorrow.
