YESSSSSSSS Its precisely this attention to detail that made this drama such a visually stunning treat. They are all wonderfully talented people and made the drama a joy to watch... I feel sooo happy watching LDT. Everything is perfect.

For novel SYS, it was explained that his aging 'froze' because of the face curse. However in a drama medium, we cannot expect all of the cast to grow a beard just to show they aged esp for women lol They are also unlikely to recast the roles just to match their age groups because they needed people to be able to tell the characters apart easily. If they already have a group of people who appear for a very short time, mixed with even more people who appear for short time, we will never be able to know who they are unless the name tags keep appearing. As some other fans have pointed out, the drama has throwaway lines here and there to explain this, esp that particular cultivator for his matchmaking, that there is people cultivating 'skincare' hahaha so they were aware and did the best they could hehe
