Really great drama in a long while. Great acting, beautiful visuals of cast and sets, well paced story ( a bit too fast is the common remark) and very good visual effects.. its a very down to earth xianxia.
Binge it now and come squeal in real time with us. hahahahah

I suppose SYS thought MRW can't kill RR either because they are still linked by that soul chain thing. But did MRW herself forget? I don't understand why she kept trying to kill her sister so many times when they are still linked in life and in death?
I didn't expect to be waiting for episodes but I'm disappointed on not being able to binge. I hope I don't lose…
I wanted some filler...some breather... the biggest disappointment for me was we didn't get as much disciple free time as they did in the novel. They were always carefree, camping and eating bbq everywhere they went for their adventures, to the bewilderment of other sects lol

Today's eps was so much more fun than yday's for me. I did not feel that moved with that love story of that dragon lol but that ep had really great visual effects lol
She’s overly nice, but fls in xianxia dramas usually are. My issue with her is the fact that she has not realized…
I felt RR was biased towards her Shifu always. However in the beginning, I got the feeling her crush on Shifu somehow was not very established before they were 'separated' after his 1.5 year seclusion. In the novel there was much more interaction than we saw in the drama, but for pacing I suppose they considered too much frivolity as filler.
In the novel RR finds out way later about her real identity, she also does not have these constant flashbacks because there was no soul companion in that... I agree that while RR is portrayed as very intelligent and sharp regarding the real identity of the fake MQG in the drama, she was much slower to come to the right conclusion about herself.
Maybe because se trusted her Shifu too much when he said she was some uninvolved random spirit he had experimented with?
Especially that flashback of herself wearing red... sigh... that was too much... That overlap point between ' RR is so smart ' and 'RR is so dumb' became blurred lol
looool when they both starting their acting towards each other, the CN iqiyi bullet comments were soooo funny.... all saying stuff like ' ACTION!' ' pls start your performance' lool
SYS has only one goal- to make XRR stronger / maybe going back to her original self as MQG so they can take care…
He kind of wants her to be able to survive on her own but the plan was for himself to take care of the Spirit Spring, which might be a one way trip. He had no intentions to involve her in it again in this life. I guess he always saw it as he was the stumbling block in her life to ascension as an immortal. So he wanted to set that right and carry on his own promise to MQG.
I agree that SYS & MQG's relationship started as disciple-master but I don't think SYS's love towards MQG is totally…
MQG was carrying too much weight of the world to be thinking about romantic love back then... so happy Ranran gets to enjoy as much giddy teenage love as she could lol
I just rewatched it again from ep 1 because i heard they cut to re-order it and I gotta say it is so much smoother!…
I was a little disappointed they made this change though. I was one of the few who liked how they started with Shifu recruiting Ranran like in the novel I suppose lol
