This may be a stupid question. Are Mew and Gulf artists of GMM? I checked GMM, their names are not there. Which company do they belong to? And what about Saint and Zee? Thanks.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE Bright, and BrightWin ship. So i've decided to go on a 'marathon' to watch all of…
Apparently he's diverse in real life too: Genius exotic looks; Genius in academics, he goes through schools with scholarships, not many can do that. Plus he achieves high GPA's while working 'full time' too, that's not easy. And I believe he's identified gifted; Great at various sports including football, boxing ; Great in various musical instruments; Great actor, singer, model, etc; He's great endorsing products, the way he talks attracts sales; ETC ETC ETC
I know some people will dislike what I said. But we all have our bias, and Bright is my bias.
They saved the show from... the sin of same-sex love, by not having any? They saved it from offending asexuals?…
I think you feel 'weird' probabaly because you are given an unfamiliar view of SarTine to think about now. That's totally normal. I like MDL because everyone is contibuting when they post comments, and everyone gets to take something when they read comments.
Your thoughts about Tine crying and Sar waiting for Tine are because of them being mature, are additional perpectives to the story. I can see where you're coming from. I'll take that with me! :-)

He's actually a good actor! I've read criticisms that he's just a pretty face, that's not true. I've watched at least 5 of his dramas now, and I thought he performed very well in all those different roles and different genres.
He played: a compationate upright man and a good son; a westerner with 2 different personalities simultaniously; a violent sadist, BL - Sarawat; and more.
He's a diverse actor, and one cannot be diverse without good skills.

there's another problem then. Sar's 'pain' was comforted earlier on when he heard Tine's outpour by the poolside, but Tine's 'pain' was only being addressed at the end. And Sar did not even look for Tine, Tine had to make him food and approach him himself.
Sar's an asshole.
Sorry, i'm going to be rude and crude now. Tine 'dam-bursted' his tears for Sar. Sar better dam-burst back some 'seeds' for Tine. LMAO.
Are MDL comments screened? Do they delete inappropriate contents??

I'm starting to have a bad feeling about ep 5 now. it seems like s2g is playing the catchup game, fixing issues from 2g (e,g the high5, Tine collapsed and went to hospital, etc). But it seems s2g created it's own issues now (e.g. the above discussion) It'll be funny if they have to make another special to fix s2g. LOL

No no no ... no need to apologize ... it's all good.... we're just talking....
I understand you now. There's a disproportionate display, or lack thereof, of emotions and actions.
Tine broke down and cried uncontrollably by the poolside, pouring out loud all his feelings, missing Sar. The intensity is comparable to a dam bursting. As for Sar, Tine became unbearbly unattainable, to the point that this 'longing' became his 'urgency' to leave, breaking rules, travelling back home, just so he can see Tine.
Any later feelings or actions less intense could not serve as responses and could not give closure to these 'pains'.
All the conversations and affections displayed after SarTine met again, even though they are still expressions of love, did not have the magnitude demanded to answer what they intensely went through.
For s2g to wrap up SarTine's emotionally charged 2weeks with soft loving gestures is out of balance. It belittles what they went through from missing each other. The ending lacks completion and fruition.
I know where you are coming from now. And you are right, there's a mismatch.
When I think this way, I would primerly put the blame on the writer and the director, as they are the ones dictating and guiding the show and the actors. Doesn't mean B and W are good actors, but criticizing them for not being BL enough for a BL series would not be my first or only complain.
I'd say both BrightWin WERE bad actors in regards to those emotional scenes of those 2 weeks though. I say that because they did absolutely NOTHING to me, I totally did not feel that intensity from them that you felt. TBH, I was actually thinking at that time 'it's only 2 weeks dude, why are you bawling your eyes out?' and I did not think much of Sar sneaking out, maybe now it came across to me as him being defiant instead of an urgent desire which he could no longer hold back, not much feelings to that. Their actings did not register those intended intense feelings in me, I was not moved, I didn't think twice about them. That to me is a failure. And the actors are partly responsible for it.
Got introduced to "Social Death Vote". Bright played a student starting ep 4. He's acting is actually pretty good. I'm going to start checking out more of his past dramas.
It seems there'll be two new mainstreams dramas this year, 'Before the dawn' and 'In time with you'. B'll be ML in 'before the dawn'. Looking forward to them.
I'm not entirely sure what you're saying, but in real life, when you love someone and they love you back, you…
Hm good point.
Now that I think about it, Tine is Sar's first, and only, crush and relationship. While Sar is Tine's first, and only, male lover. Tine had plenty experiences with girls before but not with men. Sar on the other hand had zero experience with anyone period. So they actually fit as 'puppy love' in a way.
Usually we would have had our first love in high school, or even earlier in elementary school. Maybe that's why we expected more then just 'puppy love' between SarTine? since 2g and s2g are set in the university? Sounds plausible that they disappoint when one thinks this way.
"Oh no they still haven't inhaled each others' brains out through their mouths the world is gonna end!"If we plot…
Did you mean, instead of kissing properly, Sar just makes 'sniff' sounds on Tine's cheek? or head? I read somewhere before that's part of the Thai culture. Apparently in Thailand, PDA is not as acceptable as in the West, hence they "sniff kiss" to replace the "proper kisses" when in public. Maybe this helps to explain that action?
And what about Saint and Zee?
Thanks.

My 2 dollars (inflation) worth.

Or it could just be a 'bad' BL that's all. LOL
