For the train wreck of the century check out 'My Day'. It makes LBC 2 look like a masterpiece lol.
Oh lol. I went to watch ep 2 when I read your comment. And it turned out I DID watch it already, but I didn't remember! LOL. Like you, I skipped the Ae, and I guess I was so unfocused I TOTALLY forgot about the rest that I watched. LMAO!!! That says how uninteresting it is to me. But out of loyalty, I'll stick with it.
Before you read: lmao this got long so plugging in his social media accounts Bright’s Twitter and Instagram:…
Thank you so much for your informative post !!! I don't have much to recipricate, but maybe I can show you this MV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrDi6mP4uZg&list=RDnrDi6mP4uZg&start_radio=1&t=6 So only on the topic of kissing, he's CRAZY sensual. I think he beats plenty celebrities. He looks great kissing Win in 2g and s2g too. Bright's my bias !!!
I posted Bright is my favourite before, but I just feel I have to post it again. LOVE YOU BRIGHT!!! WISHING YOU ALL THE HAPPINESS AND SUCCESS FOR YEARS TO COME !!! SUSU BRIGHT!!!

You know, I think MD is pretty bad too in almost everything. story line, dialogues, charactors, etc. Even Ace and Sky are not that good looking to me like some other Filipino BL actors are. But some how I haven't skipped or dropped it yet. I cannot pin point what about it that is attracting me.
LBC2 on the other hand couldn't draw my attention, at least in ep 1. I like seeing the cast again and I Loved LBC, so I'll stick to it.
Not sure if you tried 'Quarenthings'. New Filipino BL, only aired ep1. Seems low budget. But I'm really liking it. The MLs and the dialouges are funny, I lol a few times.
I lost interest around ep 10 and dropped it after ep 11. But GB is my first ever Filipino drama, so it's special to me in a way. Determined to complete the series and came back for ep 12. Glad I did. Ep 12 talked about online relationships could be missing qualities that face to face relations have. The concerns at my end now are many schools have to change to online or remote learning. It's not the same has having a teacher physically being with you by yourside. Glad GB tries to touch on serious topics surrounding the pandemic, even though I think sometimes the show is not perfectly done.
They saved the show from... the sin of same-sex love, by not having any? They saved it from offending asexuals?…
Hi jpny01 Maybe my previous comment would have come across better if I had elaborated it more. However, I get the feeling that foundamently, there's a relatively big gap between how you view SarTine and how I view them. I believe that gap stems from the difference in what makes you happy in a lovers relationship, and what makes me happy in the same relationship.
I'll try to explain myself more with the hope that I won't further trigger you negatively.
I'll try to discuss considering only the physical aspects for now. I think the amount and the types of physical intimacy ST have is close to none by your standard. Hence, to percieve them as having a healthy relationship as lovers, given the context of their age and life, would be 'ridiculous'. However, the amount that they displayed is enough for me to find them endearing. And I would be quite satisfied myself if my boyfriend displayed them in that level.
What I meant by 'saved' specifically in my previous comment was regarding the ending of 2g and the ending of this ep. Both revolved around winning a music competition. In 2g, Sar gave Tine a high5 and ended there. That brought an outcry of disappointments from many many fans on many multiple levels and in many multiple ways. In this ep, even though there were still nothing physically strong, the intimacy they showed did not lack depth, to me at least. I actually found them endearing.
This time, they kept their old ways of affection, like sharing the earphones, but they also added new ones. And the way they added the new ones seemed to me they are saying they hear our disappointments and will rectify it, I got this feel when Sar's script said "i get it" before kissing Tine. However, they will not do it as some shallow fan service. My perception is they made effort to develop themselves to suit us, while at the same time honouring their own style
When I saw added new things like: Tine recipricated and kissed Sar on the check; Tine resting his hand on Sar's arm while thanking him; Sar caressing Tine's thumb with his thumb when they were holding hand; Sar rubbing/caressing his head on Tine's head. I see them as small but significant bondings lovers would do. Affections like these ones are enough to touch me, and they stay with me.
So from my point of view, they "saved" the show and rectified the disappointment they gave us in 2g.
I'm guessing you will disagree with my views? But I think we can accept to agree to disagree?
It's morning in my end, so good morning and have a good weekend. Cheers!
I've already posted my dislike for "redos." Although, I don't really have a problem with "reboots." I'm just a…
I also find it disturbing that some BL series ignore the criminal act of rape. The one I thought even more extreme and disgusting was what Lhong did in TharnType. In any sane world, he would be prosecuted and put in jail.
Forgiveness is one thing, but it seems to me they are just decriminalizing the violent action of rape, instead of excercising the value of forgiveness towards the rapist.
I think these shows should be tagged Rated-R, Criminal, Adult, Mature, Violent, Rape, etc. Just to protect the younger viewers, educating them that actions such as rape is illegal, unacceptible to learn from, and must not copy.
My two cents worth. (or two dollars worth with inflation. Sorry, just thought to be funny after a heavy topic)
