I enjoyed the main couple. However, halfway through episode 17, I skipped to the last episode. I was simply done with the unnecessary drama and side drama from useless characters that existed to be difficult. I knew it'd have a happy ending and am satisfied with the one in this show. Bonus: The costume designs are beautiful and amazing.
The synopsis (description) for this in details is misleading. I thought this was a different show that happened to have the same title. Despite HYT being in this, not even he can convince me to watch it beyond the first episode. I'm halfway through it and want to quit.
The actor for the FL is pitiful to look at even. I don't recall the 2019 version of her being this pathetic. She's also plain, but someone mentions that she's pretty. Maybe it's her early makeup and hair and demeanor that turns me off.
If Meng ever calls back into the show, I want to know how this ends. IMO Meng handled his relationships extraordinarily badly. This story qualifies as a BL; since it starts from their teen years.
WOW! This is an intense roller coaster of a show. It features everything that's wrong with the (higher) education system, wealthy parents, generational legacies, career merit vs. connections, and the measure of a person. The acting , sets, dialogue, plots and subplots were all amazing and tied into each other like a tightly woven basket. I loved this show and whole-heartedly recommend it, but will never watch it again. My blood pressure can't stand the anxiety.
NGL. Watched this for Masaki Naoko. I enjoyed the over reacting of Honoka Yahagi though. The simple love triangles were classic and entertaining. The villain is sufficiently irritating. It took me nine episodes to figure out the main couple however. I was honestly rooting for the 2nd ML and 1st FL. I'm completely confused at how one of the couples in the end ended up together too. All that taken into account, I found this a fun and captivating series; and gratefully short.
At what point do they all realize and agree that the love alarm is egregiously problematic? For me, it was episode two. I finished episode three, but not sure if I’m going to continue watching the series yet. I like most of KSH’s work, which is why I started watching this at all.
I don't know. I find the ML pleasant to watch, but the FL is annoying. After episode two, I may drop it or put it on hold. Looking back, I noticed I dropped most of the shows the FL starred in, even though I love a good romantic comedy.
