not special but solid
First off, I think this was the best GL I've seen. I'd even go as far as to say it outdid quite a lot of BLs. The story/plot was solid, the soundtrack wasn't outstanding but okay and the cast was amazing. They're all really good and beautiful actresses. It's a good GL series, and its nice to see its evolution, even though it could be better (there's still room for improvement).I've got a few issues with it tho, (which are totally subjective) like the way I felt while watching it; I guess it wasn't really for me. I needed more angst between them. I think it would have been better if it had been more of a slow burn, for me at least. I didn't feel the connection or butterflies I thought I would, and I got bored a lot (I even fell asleep once). I also think that the story had a good start, but it could've been better. Maybe if it had been explored a bit differently, it could've been more interesting and less boring. Despite everything, they were cute and I liked it to a certain degree... (don't mind me i'm an enemies to lovers girl pls
Edit: forgot to add, but the first 6eps were a pain to watch, i struggled a lot :') the second half was way better, which is why I gave it 7 stars. otherwise, it would have been less. for a low standard, it was a good series.

it's not worth the hype
Should I start with the fact that 80% of this was sexual content? what was with Tonkla and that raw chicken thing and also the fact that he was a LITERAL MINOR (or almost a minor? idk, but it doesn't matter) unfortunately I found out after I finished watching it, otherwise I would have dropped it.CHARACTERS
In the beginning, I liked the natural way the main couple was connecting, and I also liked the fact that they weren't likable, they were such grey characters, it really added to the depth of the show. I didn't really like them as a couple though, they didn't have good chemistry nor did they have enough good interactions for me to feel anything for them. Everything about the romance was rushed and empty. Korn and Tonkla pissed me off, but even though Tonkla had a lot going on (I won't say bc spoilers), he literally carried the show. If I pretend the sex scenes don't exist, the character's story was really interesting and was very well portrayed by the actor, the youngest actor was surprisingly the better actor. Korn was just there to be another shitty character, he literally did nothing, he was just there to be like "omg why is this happening" and to be a bad person, no purpose, no depth. Win was even worse, what did he even do on the show? He was doing NOTHING, every time he was on the show he was 1. having sex with Tonkla 2. Doing a lot of nothings just wandering around. Not even as an inspector he was good, unbelievable.
MUSIC
Please, do I even need to say anything? Terrible soundtrack, Tyme had a terrible random 5m music clichê moment, and then the BL ends with a KinnPorshe song... It's like they just didn't give af about the music lmao, it made the whole viewing experience so empty.
STORY
The plot had SO MUCH potential, like the whole 4 minute concept was really interesting, the execution? terrible. They focused too much on the sex scenes, like the first half of the show nothing really happened and it was just Tonkla being horny with whoever was in front of him. Dude calm down with that raw thing pls, this was legit porn, they didn't need to show THAT MUCH. i swear to god i saw a dildo somewhere, Win's thing was literally hanging please tell me i'm not the only one who saw that omg.
Then they rushed the 2nd half, it's like they realized "wait, this is supposed to have a plot" and then made everything happen at once and it was bad. I don't agree with the people who said it was confusing, I think it was the opposite, I literally figured it out (the whole 4 minute thing) in the beginning, it was so obvious, and then the so called "confusing part" was just them trying to turn something simple into something confusing just to make it seem like it was WOW, but it ended up being meh. poorly written, everything about it except Tonkla's story was bad. But it could have been something so good if they had given less screen time to other characters' sex lives and focused more on creating a meaningful connection between the main characters and building the whole 4 minute plot.
PRODUCTION
It was a wasted good production because even though the execution of the story was shit, it was really well produced, you can tell it had a higher budget than other BLs. The colors, I liked how they tried different angles and the cinematography... everything about the production was pleasant and nice.
To sum it up, it was a good production of badly written sci-fi and an empty romance full of porn. If you like that, enjoy. But since the actor who did most of the sex scenes was underage/too young, I wouldn't recommend it.

SO CUTE AND ADORABLE AND AAA
When they smiled i smiled, when they cried i cried (i'm a crier tho so i'm not the best role model for this...), i was literally giggling and kicking my feet the whole damn time- it was so wholesome i can't with their interactions-It's not a 10 just because i really wish this was a typical 16 episode 1 hour long BL, it had SO MUCH potential to be a full length kdrama, because it didn't explore all of the history and the drama between the two of them that much (due to the fact there wasn't that much time to delve into it) it ended up not being as enjoyable because it felt rushed and simple, it wasn't enjoyable at all to watch their "sad parts", I was bored in those.
In short, it just could have been better. And unfortunately i had to take that into account for the rating, otherwise i would have given it a 10, because I LOVED IT, despite the flaws they were great aaaaaaa and it made up for it thankfully
(It's honestly sad the way the reason for this is the couple being gay... its upsetting how this could have been perfect if the people who made this BL had put more effort and budget into it :') but well it is what it is i guess.)

Good action-dramatic kdrama :)
First of all I'd like to highlight how AMAZING Ji Chang-wook is as an actor! I've already watched him a couple of times on another k-dramas and he never disappoints! One of the best, indeed. :) Yoona also did a good job (not as good as him tho but that's understandable) and I think overall the acting was good. The production oh damn, I also loved it! They did a great job with those dramatic scenes, classical music is not my cup of tea but I still could feel what they were trying to convey (although they may have exaggerated sometimes, but that was exactly what they wanted, right?). About the plot & story, I'll be honest, I found myself lost as F a lot of times, but that could be just me being dumb because despite of that, there were times when things truly surprised me and got interesting and I was caught up wanting to know what would come next! I'll give it an 8.0, because despite some flaws it was a great action k-drama and I recommend it to everyone who likes action with a lot of drama mixed. :)note: English isn't my first language so I apologize in advance just in case of eventual mistakes.

it could have been a 10, but it wasn't
You can tell this was made with Boss Kuno, the same director of ITSAY. It had that coming of age vibe and it SERVED looks, cinematography and aesthetics, really satisfying to watch. The first half was also really really good, but eventually it went downhill.PRODUCTION
Production-wise, it was AMAZING and so consistent. The aesthetics were there from start to finish. Their styles and outfits, the colors, the angles, the whole cinematography was incredible. I especially liked the way they showed social media and the zoom calls, it made me feel like I was part of the show, which made me even more engaged. A cool and beautiful production, we need more BLs like this.
MUSIC
I had the best time with the music fr. We were introduced to some artists during the show, and I might be biased because I listen to those artists too, but they were really good. The music was part of the story, so it's nice to see good artists and song choices. As an OST itself, I think the music was well paced, it was there when it was needed and it wasn't when it wasn't needed, it contributed to the emotional impact of the show in a good way. The only thing I didn't really like about the music was those nosy sounds that were there sometimes, the melody (?) I don't really know, but I understand it was part of/added to the vibe of the show, it's just not my cup of tea and I found it annoying.
STORY
For the first 2/3 episodes I was literally giggling and kicking my feet, they had so much chemistry, the way things were revealed (combined with the amazing production) was so interesting, I was sooo engaged.
All the characters were just teenagers with their own tastes and styles, and they dedicated an episode to each of them, which made the story even more interesting, we could see everyone's perspective and the reasons behind every action, the storytelling was going in a good direction, but then it went downhill.
Somewhere in the middle, the same things and situations just kept happening, it's like the characters were stuck and not growing, and I ended up feeling frustrated. It's not that the plot was bad, it's not unique or special, but it wasn't bad, it just fell apart. It became boring and uninteresting. I'm not complaining about the situation of the characters, because I know that was supposed to make the viewers feel frustrated (I'm trying my best not to give spoilers pls), but they gave too much "screen time" to the issue and then rushed the end, the way they handled the middle of the story negatively affected the end of the show, which is sad considering everything else was just so well done.
The 2nd couple shined in the last episodes, honestly at some point and 100% unexpected (I didn't expect them to be a couple, nor was I rooting for them), I was more interested in their story. The main couple was in the same situation like 95% of the show, when the 2nd couple potential came to the surface they just stole me, because of them the BL story got better, at least something was going on.
I didn't really like the finale to be honest, I don't think it made sense. This ending would have been better if they got together sooner, because I wasn't even rooting for the main couple anymore.
In conclusion, this BL had everything to be a 10/10 show, but unfortunately it wasn't because the story fell flat. I recommend it though, I just wish I liked it more. (If you want to compare: ITSAY was better)
