Weak is the keyword here.

Not a good orphans focused story. The flashbacks of the kids/teen were too damn long, boring, annoying and 100% deafening. My ears! After that, there was a whole lot of nothingness until the last few episodes where things started moving again. The story was too thin it would barely fit a 16 episodes run. Most of the cast were unlikable. The drama was full of annoyances but if I had to pick a one that stood out the most it would be Chun Won worthless existence. Chun Won knew the other orphans for a very very short and brief time when they were young, yet they considered her as one of them and let her get away with anything and everything all the time. Also, weak generic justice!

Bad

The synopsis is just awful and a sign that even MBC don't have a clear plan for the drama. Which was confirmed very shortly within a handful of episodes. It was solidified even further when the female lead Lee Ga Ryeong dropped out of the drama by episode 46. They didn't replace her with another actress, they just removed her character entirely. The drama went through a big shift after that, hopelessly trying to adjust the story but there was no saving since it was unserviceable from the very beginning. The old man love relationship was unbearable to watch. This might be the worst "family" centered drama which is weird because it's really hard to fuck up a family drama.

Ew...

This drama is the definition of scam. I would rather be robbed and slapped on the face in broad daylight! The viewers, the characters, the production team and staff all were scammed blatantly by the writer. The writer did an identical move of the exact scam with her other drama "A Good Supper (2021)". Seems to have a good track record in scamming. The drama in general was scuffed including the earlier parts. The stinkiness began as early as episode 3. I hope Han Ji Hye can pick up better projects in the future. The last project she did that was actually good was "Sweet 18 (2004)" from 19 years ago!

Decent....

It works because it's silly and doesn't take itself seriously. Add to that a lot of chemistry from the trio and you get a light enjoyable watch. This is the right kind of triangle with no bad blood. Jang Na Ra is just too OP with rom-coms. Having 10 episodes instead of 16 seems to be working in its favor, otherwise it would have become melo and began to drag.

Unhinged comedy! The earlier parts were a solid comedy full of jokes and this is it's main attraction but unfortunately they tuned down the comedy a bit in the later parts. Maybe if it was cut down to 12 episodes they would be able to refine the comedy and fit it in a better package. Anyway, it's still a fun show to turn off your brain and just laugh.

.

These kind of dramas usually have a decent concept and beginning but fall apart quickly within 5 episodes and this one is no exception. Shallow story padded with nothingness yet they don't take advantage of developing one of the side stories like Jung Yeon & Yong Duk. Hell, it seems they were completely forgotten in the last few episodes with no update about them. Rest in piece Lee Eon!

Hella exhausting to watch. There are about 6 nasty people roaming around the lead and her kid. Imagine 6 evil mothers in law terrorizing everyone. Blind obsession that only get resolved because the drama reaches the last episode. Chae Rim needs to comeback to the scene with a modern drama.

Poor job done regarding the main leads

It had a good start but it stumbled and fell on its face so damn hard which is unfortunate. It seems the writer was clueless and had no clear direction on what to do with the female lead, she always went through the worst possible path which led to the worst outcome amongst the other couples. I lost interest in her story after the divorce. They had a great set up to fully utilize the entire runtime to develop her story but they did such a poor job in that regard. The other characters/pairs were tolerable while Oh Yoon Ah being the only one to stand out. Another thing was too obvious is how poor the pacing was. It was tolerable at the beginning because there was a decent comedic fillers especially with ML's father but later on there was none of that.

Hmmm...

It had a good start but it stumbled and fell on its face so damn hard which is unfortunate. Two major things stuck out. it had the worst and lamest written antagonist I thought could be possible, specifically Sung Tae and Cho Won characters. What made it even worse are the incompetent actor and actress who played the roles, both can't act at all. Luckily there weren't around for the entire run but the left a stinky trail. The other thing that stuck out was the leads "love". The drama made a big mistake not justifying why their love is so great and worth fighting for. The lack of build up, backstory, depth, chemistry and romance between them, all of which made their case worse. I remain unconvinced of their efforts.

The drama had other problems as well. It seems the writer was clueless and had no clear direction on what to do with the side cast. For example Min Soo and his wife, the writer didn't know what to do with them at all. At the beginning they were set up as the married couple that would have marriage problems but they ended up just roaming around and being silly. The same thing can be said about the rest, they're just fillers and the focus remained on the leads. This is not good in a family focused drama since the objective is to actually include the family to have a proper familial vibes.

If only.....

It's very hard to make a good sports drama and this one definitely failed in making one. Kim Bum's childish character was irritating beyond belief. He single-handedly brought the drama down. You can make him a troubled youth/teen character without making him as a literal child throwing tantrums every 2 seconds.

Nice concept, awful execution. Its low production and low quality almost made it unwatchable. Most matchmaking cases were boring and uninteresting. The same can be said about the characters' backstory. The cast performance was lackluster, half of them can't act!

The cast performance was lackluster, half of them can't act! Lee Tae Sung got some really awkward scene. That one scene in eps 9 while trying to talk to Joo Ri, who approved the scene? Anyway, there's already a better matchmaking drama called "Love Marriage (2008)", way better than this one. There's also another one called "Divorce Lawyer in Love (2015)" which is decent.

Worst female lead out there!

The usual makjang route without anything new or interesting that would stand out. Aside from the repetitive nature of the genre, the drama had the bad kind of revenge. On the other hand, the female lead Soo Hyun was genuinely detestable and revolting from beginning to end with no exceptions.

No

I love Yoon So Yi but this is her worst project she picked up to date, even worse than "The Color of a Woman (2011)" or "Say You Love Me (2004)". Barely serviceable story and full of generic makjang characters. Unnecessarily long for such a scuffed story. They created a massive conflict in the last 2-3 episodes and then proceeded to brush it off within half an episode despite having a very relaxed 51 episodes of nothingness. There wasn't much chemistry between the leads. Both male lead sucked. All the relationships sucked, romantic and non-romantic one. Especially with the in-laws, it was exhausting and brain numbing. By the end, I couldn't care less who would end up with who and what happens to who.
