By the way, please take note that in the past few days, paid influencer accounts on weibo have been posting fake billing orders and cast lists to incite fanwars
Where has it been stated that ‘Shu Juan Yi Meng’ is an “idol drama” and that the ML, Nan Heng, is a pretty boy?
This 2nd Liu Yu Ning S+ drama collab with Linmon is just like ‘Yi Nian Guan Shan’ which is NOT an idol drama and Ning Yuan Zhou was NEVER meant to be a pretty boy.
Nan Heng is an antihero who is villainous, vicious and merciless. That’s the only description we have of him from the synopsis.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You are free to find LYN “ugly”, but do bear in mind that the world does not revolve around you and your “taste”, and even if it may be difficult for you to comprehend and accept, there exists people like me, who find LYN to be physically attractive.
If seeing LYN’s face bothers you so much, just don’t watch any of his dramas or just skip his parts. You’re not such a special snowflake to have people hold a gun to your head to shove LYN down your throat.
The staff here won’t approve the cast and crew submitted to this page even though it is based upon the drama’s own official weibo account’s following list, so I’ll just post this here.
In order from the bottom to the top of the weibo following list:
1. Linmon Pictures, the production company (A Journey to Love)
2. Guo Hu, the director (Mysterious Lotus Casebook)
3. Ren Zhuang Liu, the screenwriter (Story of Kunning Palace)
4. Li Yi Tong, FL - Song Xiao Yu
5. Liu Yu Ning, ML - Nan Heng
6. Zhu Xu Dan, FL2
7. Huang Wei, the costume designer (A Dream of Splendor)
8. Fan Yi Zhu, the action director (Reign of Assassins)
It’s been 3 days and the edits to this page have yet to be approved so here’s the synopsis from douban:
What would you do if you accidentally cross over into the world of a script, and become the heroine who is abandoned and abused to death by the villainous hero?
Song Xiao Yu does not need to think about it. Without a doubt, she would run away as far as she can. However, no matter how hard she tries, the "plot" will always push her to the hero, Nan Heng, and stage one famous scene in the script, after another...
In this world of a script, there are also countless characters that have been "set" for a long time. Some people are trapped in the deep palace, some are trapped in aristocratic families, some are tired of competition amongst women, and some are running away from those in power. Some people yearn for love and freedom, but they can only dance around in shackles. Some people dream of rising rapidly, but their passion gets worn away by constraints and mediocrity day after day.
This is not only a fierce battle between the death fearing “salted fish”, Song Xiao Yu, and the vicious and merciless “grim reaper”, Nan Heng, but also the battle between every script character and their established fate.
that sounds interesting! if so, i wonder what the script will be about
The FL, Song Xiao Yu, crosses over into the world inside a novel/book, where the heroine is abandoned and abused to death by the villainous hero, Nan Heng. The FL tries to run away from the ML, but the “plot” of the novel keeps pushing her to him.
As we can see in the poster, the FL and ML are on a little boat rowing upstream against the current of “words” in the novel/book, fighting against the plot that has been set for the world inside the novel/book.
LYN fans have been very happy and excited about their new “husband”, Nan Heng, on weibo so I believe this drama has nothing to do with the QSCK novel.
I’m glad it’s an original script so all the fans of that QSCK novel can stop complaining about how LYN isn’t good looking enough to play the ML of that novel. They can continue fantasizing about whatever pretty boy dream cast they have in their minds and leave LYN out of their mouths now
Apparently this drama is based upon an original script and has little to nothing to do with the novel by QSCK.
The FL’s name is Song Xiao Yu (宋小鱼) and the ML is Nan Heng (南珩).
It’s prolly quite legit since LYN fans are reminding each other to get the name right and making sure they don’t misspell or mispronounce “Heng” on weibo.
We’re gonna have to wait for the official announcement to be sure though
Can someone post the release timings. Does it release in the same timings SOKP used to release episode? Also if…

Zhou is used in ancient poems and idioms whilst Chuan is a more common usage in modern times.
When Ru Yi said that she’d name her future child Ren Xiao Chuan, Ning Yuan Zhou replied that the name sounds cute but isn’t it too similar to his name
