I've just spent the whole weekend watching this drama and I think this is one of the best travel-time dramas I've ever seen. It tackles this subject in an interesting manner and the writing and directing make it difficult to predict the ending. The actors did an amazing job as well! This is definitely one of my favorites now.
If anyone hesitates to pick up this drama, please give it a chance!
hold on... hold on... which part that was worth for us to shed tears? O_o I'm utterly shocked coz I watched ep…
The same - I felt sorry for Suho, but I was more stunned at the last accident scene. Mostly because I did not expect sucha a level of "acrobatics" (and for the accident to actually happen and be that serious).
While this is very obviously a rom-com, the focus it gives to the characters' entire lives is what makes it much…
Totally agree. I really like how this show focuses on all aspects of characters' lives and not only on their romantic relationships (contrary to many other dramas).
OMG, the feels! That was one of the most awesome confession scenes I've ever seen in kdrama. And I loved the scene in which OMJ wanted to hold KSG's hand, but didn't have the courage to do so - it was so natural.
Does anyone else also feel that KSG would make a really good agent for athletes? I think that he in general would be excellent at doing any job that manages people.
EP9 nine was the funniest yet - I was laughing almost all the time. The dating scene, the phone scene, the LJK's dad and Suho scene and finally the last scene were beyond hilarious. But based on the preview the things will soon get more serious (I hope Soo Jin won't be driven by jealousy and will stay as LJK's friend).
I really like Seo Jun and how he cares for LJK despite having no real chances with her, because she's totally oblivious (he's a really decent guy), but I also think that LJK and Suho match very well. This show keeps reminding me sometimes of times when I've fallen in love for the first time (it's too cringy at times though) .
How is that possible that this drama is so sweet? I keep liking it even more with each new episode and I never skip any scenes - every second is so precious.
"You have garbage emphatic skills" - I liked how Yonghwa confronted SDA today and told her off (the last scene was really good). She deserved that.
And obviously the scene with the director and OMJ was gold.
Btw does anyone know where it was filmed in Korea (which seaside city)?
I don't feel sorry for her (Dan).I empathize but don't sympathize. They all have walls. Mj said the ML invaded…
I also fully understand your stance. And I don't think that only SDA deserves sympathy.
I guess I feel sorry for SDA as she reminds me of a wounded animal that doesn't accept anyone's help and lashes out at everyone because it cannot deal with pain. Therefore I hope she finally realizes (thanks to the people around her) that she needs to change. I also don't like her cruelty and didn't like how she treated her youngest brother - we aren't aware of what happened between them, but I don't think he deserved that (he's making an effort and she's treating him like a nuisance). I'm curious what made her like this. Money makes things easier but doesn't bring happiness.
OMJ's situation is not easy either (as it was mentioned by many with whom I agree), but I guess I'm more proud of her (than sorry) as she's dealing with all the problems differently despite many obstacles that appear on her way (she's also making mistakes as anyone else, but she also owns up to her mistakes). I really like how she's appreciating life although it's difficult and challenging for her (simple example: her reaction to the stinky hotel room). I don't want to pity her - I'd like to appreciate her character for doing an amazing job at living despite all the sad moments that happened to her (and I'm glad that KSG is becoming the person who'll slowly take care of her i.e. while being sick). Because of that, I think she's def stronger mentally than SDA, She's my favorite.
KSG's story is also very sad - he's so used to being alone and lonely that he's somehow oblivious while interacting with other people (i.e. like when he didn't tell OMJ where he spent the night as he was not aware that someone actually may worry about him because I guess no one asked him such questions before). Nevertheless, he's still considerate and thoughtful (I really liked his convo with his mother, him taking care of OMJ, and organizing the new hotel for staff).
I feel so sorry for Dan Ah - she's built these walls around her in order to protect herself, but in reality she's lonely and cannot trust almost anyone (and she's very cynical). She's strong, distanced and I admire that about her, but I hope she becomes happier (I bet that inside she's a softie). Mi Joo kicked ass tonight as well - I really liked how despite making a mistake she had the courage to address the director and point out that he needs to cooperate in order to let her work properly. That speaks volumes about her character.
I don't know why I'm always getting attached to the guys who never get the girl. I've started this drama without any expectations and plan to support any of the main leads, but Seo Jun is just impossible to ignore (I mean he used to be childish at the beginning but is becoming more and more considerate and likable).
I lowkey like the ending tho. Don't you guys think this is so realistic. You can't just always expect everything…
The ending actually showed how real life is - it's very difficult to bring any of the powerful, wealthy people into justice as they all cover for each other.
I have to admit that I'm a tad frustrated at the last episode , but in general this season was fun and I don't regret watching it. I hope the writers will surprise us even more in s2 and s3.
Please edit your comment as spoiler cuz I just read it and i haven't watched what happened yet and I'm spoiled
There is a reason for spoiler tag here - I never read the comments befre watching the episodes, but you should take into consideration that some people don't watch the show in real time and they still want to see if the drama is worth watching (without spoilers).
I cannot believe that SR is dead (or is she?) - she was my favorite! I really liked how she was teaching a lesson to all characters (although she also wasn't crystal clear). I think the writer wanted for the viewers to get pissed as SR was very likable (or she ran out of ideas how SR's character could be used to push the story forward). I hope they won't kill Logan tomorrow because then the show will completely lose its spark. I don't think OYH actually killed SR - I think she only found her dying. She wasn't mentally strong enough to pull a move like this after hearing that SR saved RN (we have clearly seen her hesitation). The maid is def suspicious as we know that she was infatuated with the SR's family. I wonder what were SR's last words to OYH - probably something to do with the killer.
I guess in the next season the main protagonist will be probably the twins' mother and they will focus on avenging SR death (curious what OYH, Logan - if alive, and the twins will do). I wouldn't be actually that surprised if we come to know that SR is actually alive (if there is a twist, I want for the execution to be impeccable).
Oh, I'm still not sorry for RN - she's unlucky but in need of some character development.

And LJK's dad is just helpless - I have no words.

The latest two episodes were the best (interesting plot-wise and full of fluttering moments)!
