The last episode was satisfying and gave the background for season three (in the middle of the episode I was actually wondering what is the reason for another season - silly me).
Logan's fate was a bit expected after JDT received the newspaper in jail (and there's no way anybody could survive that explosion). I'm curious about the new guy that was shown on the plane - he seems villainous, but maybe that will actually help SSR in the future? Why do I feel that he definitely has an important connection with her (and not only Mr. Baek)?
I'm also getting confused about where the bomb was placed - was it inside the car or maybe in the cart left by JDT? And how he even got out of jail? Is Jenny's dad helping him or controlling him?
Not surprised at Jenny and Minhyuk (a bit disappointed about Jenny though) - they and their parents learned exactly nothing so I hope karma serves them right in season three. Trying to appreciate JSH 's character development, but he still has a long way to go (sorry, but for me, he was a bystander for far too long). As for JSK I actually do not see her suddenly becoming nice etc. because it's simply not her and she needs to behave like this in order to survive in this crazy world (some remorse and self-reflection would be however highly appreciated). I'm ok with her as long as she's not inflicting pain on anyone innocent.
Btw surprising that in Korea you can get only 3 years for killing someone (probably because of extraordinary mitigation of punishment, but still).
Lots of ignorant views here lol. At the end of the day, the drama is produced for Korean citizens, and if they…
I fully agree with you. If Koreans find the plot problematic as it seems to distort a very important part of their history, I think they should have a right to oppose the production of the drama and request for it to be taken off the air (edit: and we as international viewers should RESPECT that). Obviously, it is regretful considering the hard work of everyone involved, but I wouldn't want for the history of my country to be depicted in the wrong manner either (especially in front of an international audience who may get a wrong impression about events that taken place). The fact that JTBC indicated that the drama is considered as the black comedy doesn't sit well with me as well.
Contrary to many opinions stated here or on any streaming sites I really like what NIW is doing with his character. I saw him at Mr. Queen and I think he's doing way much better here. I think he fits the role of On Dal and he's making it his own. On Dal seems like an awkward and unsophisticated idiot, but at the same time somehow radiates seriousness and nobility and NIW portrays it really well (tbh watching today's episode I've forgotten that there was any change to the actor, but there were so many comments related to this topic so I was somehow forced to give it a thought).
I also like how the story is going - it's well-paced and engaging (although I've predicted what will happen with On Dal and Ga Jin this week). I'm not sure yet whether Mo Yong is trustworthy or not so I'm curious on which side she stays and I hope that General Go's character is not wasted as he still holds much promise.
I really liked episode 8 - it was fast-paced and laid the base for future episodes (there are so many possibilities of how this could end for now). This season also finally starts showing us that karma really exists and it is so satisfying to watch!
I don't care who JoJo ends up with, but this plot - seriously? Why so boring and draggy? I've fast-forwarded all the episodes because there was nothing happening.
Episode 4 was the best so far. It was fast-paced, gripping, darker - simply phenomenal! We saw what Vincenzo is capable of once again (he never forgets about his ways, but at the same time shows us something new). He's definitely an interesting character - someone like a villainous hero? I'm curious what the other side will do now.
After a season of rom-coms and fluffy shows, it's good to see something different. I wasn't sure after the first episode, but the second one was really intense and gripping and I'm definitely intrigued! I have so many theories on who the killer is, but at this point the writer is definitely playing with us lol.
I loved Jun Yeo Bin in "Be Melodramatic" but wtf is happening in here. Her delivery of the character is very off…
I hope it was done in order to emphisize her character development in the next episodes, but I agree that she's definitely overdoing it. It reminds me of Eun Byeol from Penthouse a bit (and I'm really annoyed by her expressions).
After a bit bumpy start, I'm curious how the story will progress. I like the character development and how mature YSA is. I'm also intrigued by the second sister's arc - I don't think it is as predictable as we thought.
I watched this drama without any expectations, but I liked it? At times it seemed messy and all over the place, but I was drawn to it as it was also intriguing. It made me think a lot and was unpredictable, but I also caught myself saying a lot: "Isn't it ridiculous/crazy?" I also liked the ending - it suited the drama and I actually felt that it couldn't end any different to be in line with the whole story.
I'm almost completely certain the chef and CSH's brother-in-law are having an affair.
Me too! I think that younger sister's marriage is definitely on the rocks. We've seen only two scenes of her and her husband and there was no affection from his side at all.
The last scene of episode 14 was so touching - it meant that the King paid attention all this time and remembers all things that the Queen said or did (and always has a plan!). I think this is going to be one of the legendary dramas ever. I'm really impressed at how amazingly this drama connects different elements: politics, drama, romance, comedy. I'm so glad that we still have 6 episodes left.
This drama and Run On are my favorite dramas airing at the moment (both are so good that it's impossible to say which one is better).
As usual, I'm impressed by the latest episode (writing, cast, chemistry, EVERYTHING is perfect). Watching this drama is so relaxing - I don't remember if I've ever watched a drama that made me so peaceful (and I'm not worried that the writer will mess up the plot).
The last scene was obviously tense and full of emotion and really well made (there were many scenes in EP 11 that are worth mentioning ofc).
Yong Hwa is such an admirable character - I really like how he isn't intimidated by the wealth and he's proud and fully aware of who he is. It's also good how SDA is starting to talk about her emotions with other people (her banter with OMJ is always fun to watch).

After two episodes I think this one will be one of my favorites.
