Aye come on! I can't believe people are actually buying the wife and kid theory! Did you see the kid crying at the funeral? He was much older than 5. It was probably a family who he was close with that died in order to save or protect him somehow.
Dushik is probably the one who won the 1.4 billion won in the lottery. Why else would an SNU graduate go around doing petty jobs and still have that beautiful house? He obviously has the money!
I didn't give this a high rating even though it's a well made show. And it's not because of 'no romance' like some people with their superior tastes might think. It's just that the game had no point. An old guy who doesn't believe that good people exist gains nothing by proving it. He just wants to have some fun? No you bastard you just want to justify your evil ass by pushing desperate people to the doors of death.
There was no logic behind that bs game. 9 whole episodes to show that there's good in people even if they've done horrible things? I don't like the message and didn't get any type of enlightenment. The least they could've done is show why it all started instead of incomplete nonsense from a dying man.
The producers and actors did a great job. But I guess I like being in my happy bubble like a 'basic' person. I liked it until the rich people using naked people as furniture were revealed. Too many gruesome killings for someone's entertainment. I'd much rather it be some aliens trying to decipher mankind's thoughts. It was disgusting in a traumatizing way.
I think I'll like the next season if they show us how this game started and why Lee Byunghun decided to work there. I'm also curious how the recruitment of players and staff is decided and who the VIPs are.
Overall it was a 'Why tf did I watch this and ruin my mood' kinda show. It was Snowpiercer kind of disturbing for me. At least Snowpiercer had a reason why everyone was in that situation.
My gosh the disgusting old guy who was forcing himself on the police officer made me barf. Just that look in Wi Ha Joon's eyes made me sure that the bastard was gonna get his balls cut.
I really want to start watching this, but at the same time I have less than 0 interest in watching a triangle…
Lee Sang Yi is great for makjangs but this isn't one haha. It's pretty light hearted so I don't think there will be a love triangle to say. He's probably a character for bring the leads together. Till now he's only been comic relief. The drama is pretty fun so I think you can start it. But be warned: start now only if you're patient.
Wondering what I'll look forward to each week from now on. Hospital Playlist was my life for the past two years. Loved it so much that the characters started feeling like family. If there's ever a Reply 2020 it would show people like me crying over Hospital Playlist for sure.
The Ho Ryeong CGI was amazing. I really love stories that have to do with myths and gods, like the xianxia genre, so I'm personally enjoying this very much!
I avoided this for so long, but it was lovely when I finally watched it. I've recently discovered that I especially love dramas that are set in a countryside hometown. It just feels so warm and homely. My Husband Oh Jak Doo, Warm and Cozy, When the Camellia Blooms, this and these days Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. All these dramas touched my heart like no other.
