Finally gets together with the girl but finds out he can't touch her without harming her. Trying to overcome that but finds out the girl's fated lover is someone else. Has to see his girl fall for that someone else. All this while trying to not turn into an evil spirit after the next 6 months. People might think Dam is the pitiful one but tbh it's Woo Yeo.

You are right. It's been a while since I've read the book so I wasn't able to distinguish between them. Overall it's pretty accurate, though!

Every single scene and dialogue is exactly as the novel. Really refreshing to see! Wish I hadn't read the book, so I could enjoy more with a sense of anticipation!

For me, it doesn't have nothing to do wih their sexuality. I enjoy a homo couple the same way I do a straight couple. As long as the chemistry is great, it's the same as any other romance. And the danmei novels I've read all have cool stories, xianxias are my shit, so it only makes them more enjoyable.

Finally an amazing xianxia after nearly a year!! I love this so much. I can never get tired of these epics. Never.

No, the actors are doing a good job actually. It's just that the plot is all over the place. The heroine can't decide if she wants to love the hero or hate him. What exactly is killing MM? Isn't he death himself? What are his powers exactly? And they fell in love out of nowhere. I mean okay, some people said it's the emotional connection that's being highlighted here. But I don't think that's being done in a good way. It's so bad in the most complicated way, I don't even know how to explain it. One thing I kept repeating while watching it is 'wtf is going on'.
