Right, I also enjoyed shipping Gu Fei Ming and Lu Jing most of the time. That one little washroom kabedon was better than all the cute scenes between the main couple.
I feel like Myeol Mang was also human until his mom(?) died and got trapped in a contract by Sonyeoshin chick. He must've been like "I wish I could kill everyone and everything!" and she was like "Your genie's here! Wish granted! You've officially become death itself!" and now he just wants to die.
Anyone else dropping the show? Be honest, most are just sticking for Sol-A and Joonghwi, maybe professor Jonghoon…
Nope, I'm here for Prof. Yang Jonghoon. He's charismatic af, I'm swooning over him all the time. Also the plot is so good it keeps me on my toes the whole time.
In case ya'll have forgotten, Xie Lian is supposed to look 17 y/o and Hua Cheng around the same. I know we all want the perfect cast but having little experience does not equal having little talent. I'm going to be pissed if 30 year olds get casted for these roles. Ages not matching is my worst peeve. Personally, I was thrilled to hear about Ding Chengxin's potential casting. Loved him in Wuliang and Painted Skin. Hope the directors make the right choice.
Tbh the 'epic factor' feels kinda forced. This is why good BGM and OSTs are important. They're saying edgy and cool stuff but the lack of BGM makes the effect fall flat. Hope it gets better because it's making the drama seem cringey.
After reading a few of Priest's works, I unfortunately can't understand the hype. I haven't read Mo Du yet so maybe that will change my mind. I do think the intricate storylines make good scripts, but they lack certain dramatism. Call me basic but the best danmei I've read is TGCF/Heaven Official's Blessing followed by MZDS and Golden Stage. Epics.
I found SHL to be much more enjoyable than TYK. Loved the depth the actors gave to the characters, and appreciated ZZS having a few more emotions. It didn't match the novel but fit perfectly with the show.
I have a hunch that Prof. Kim Eun Sook (nice pregnant lady) is the murderer. I know we don't have much on her but it makes no sense that such a high profile actress is only a side character. And Lee Jung Eun's name is one of the only four that appears in the opening credits (which might be because of her seniority but something seems fishy). She's probably one of the main characters because she's the villain.
Wow I never imagined the Novoland franchise to be this intresting! I'm hooked just by the setting. I guess I'll finally start watching them. Thank you so much!
This drama sure love creating problems out of nowhere. One episode he's saying he'll like her forever and the next he's being mean to her. There's the Bisoo dying thing and now the birth secret.
Am I the only one who screamed when the scenes between Lu Jing and Gu Fei Ming happened? Two handsome guys together makes the fujoshi in me rise. Waiting for more such scenes lol.
