I watch this up to episode 5 and am loving it so far! The premise is interesting and I love how cunning every character is. It's like a battle of wit between Wei Zhao and Lord Pei. And I love how it has a similar vibe with Princess Hearts and Moon Lovers where the female character just unintendedly involve herself in the political affairs. At this point it's just destined for her to be caught in the middle of this chaos. She's not the hidden card or play any important 'role' in the political climate but will become one of the most important key role that affect the 'important players' of the politics (I think).
Actually I'm quite confused. I watch up to episode 3, so did Wei Zhao's sister marry Liang emperor? How did his sister meet and marry the king from when they were separated after they fled Yueluo? How came a king marry a "runaway slave"?
I currently watch up until episode 10. I love this drama, so light and comfy, it certainly is a feel-good drama that you need after watching heavy series. But I only want to say one thing: I FREAKIN' HATE SONG WU. I hate her even more than the main villain. She's soooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying I can't stand her gosh. I wish she die miserably though I bet that would happen in such a light drama.
She’s naive so it make her smart but a lot of emotional to be kind that make her stupid and being a lawyer doesn’t…
Totally agree!! I like her character because she's soft and empathetic with high EQ, but I don't think being a lawyer suits her. She's more fitted to open a flower shop, a bookshop, a cafe, or something alike. Or maybe a kindergarten teacher or owning a pet shop. I love how the show tries to portray that being lawyers need more human touch and feelings, rather than being cold and distant, but I don't think Cheng Yao would fit a good lawyer with her attitude. Too naive, too dumb, too biased, and too emotional to be a really good and professional lawyer (I'm still on Ep 11 so I don't know if her capability as a lawyer would increase in the latter half of the drama). Regardless I still find the show interesting because I like Qian Heng and Cheng Yao's dynamics, and I love the supporting colleagues.
I'm currently on Ep 11 and it indeed just start getting more interesting. The first 10 episodes were too silly and unserious with the cases. And I think it is more interesting when it focuses less on Qian Heng's insomnia. I find it too cringe when it's cured by Cheng Yao's singing alone.
everyone who was hating on yifan and finally are catching up do you see now? her life circumstances? the people…
"this poor girl has been living in survival mode for years", well said sister!! I don't understand how people can still blame and hate on Wen Yifan when her life is hellish already. The double standard!!!
I've watched the drama up to Ep 5 and there's one thing that I realize.. if the scene is in office, Wen Yifan's bangs are long, and it seems that she cut her bangs during the house scenes filming.. that's why her bangs are long and short in every scene..
I think Kim Hyun Min didn’t remember his girlfriend simply because he has amnesia, not because she committed…
I also think like that, because he seems so confused with everything and didn't seem to remember pretty much anything. His brain seems to be foggy all the time too.
why cant i find a single comment about park bo young here 😭😭😭 is her character THAT unimportant?? wanted…
I personally think her character is very important. I don't really understand it but her voice can transcend through both worlds, so whenever she said "Find the Light Shop" to the unconscious people, they can hear her, and Bo Young is actually helping people find the shop in her own unique way. People don't really comment about her because there's not much to be commenting about.. she doesn't go through any personal conflict or development arc in the drama, she has gone through the process and becomes one of the important figures in the 'living' side.
Now that it is revealed that Light Shop and Moving are in the same universe, I can't help but wonder, if the gifted people from Moving drama who are brutally killed, also 'live' in the afterlife now.
But I only want to say one thing: I FREAKIN' HATE SONG WU. I hate her even more than the main villain. She's soooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying I can't stand her gosh. I wish she die miserably though I bet that would happen in such a light drama.
