I think the Wen Yeming and Ke Jing Ping being dad and daughter is likely confirmed from that meal discussion with HS.

Every episode they release I'm hoping there'll be a clue closing in on Kunwu, but nope, side stories to complete and added confusion for fun. 😵‍💫🤕

Can someone please solve who Kunwu is and put us all out of our guessing miseries??? They're still introducing background stories and new characters at this late point in the drama!! So distracted with all of the smaller details and plots that it's hard to see the bigger picture now. 🆘

At least we'll know who Kunwu is soon, but it might take YEARS to figure out this one. 🤪

The worse part is that he had to witness each of the three deaths in such a short time span and still have to continue on from each of them. So his suffering in this drama is just as heartbreaking as all the others. 😭😭

I like how CY got recognition for his acting craft slowly through these years, with Lotus Tower solidifying it, just to have this 5 year old drama prove his acting skills were always there but people just overlooked him for whatever reason. Take that.....😝

If the new clue is that Kunwu is someone who died and came back, I will have to guess the Viscount? He wears spectacles. 🧐
Scene that makes me suspect the Viscount, Ep 2 at the 29:30 mark, Hongshen discusses how the Viscount 'tried' to hide the key to the locker when he was dying. He could have intentionally put the key under his foot so HS 'finds' it and therefore discovers the drawing in the locker. Around the 29:35 mark after HS finishes his explanation, the dad responds, 'it turns out to be him, Kunwu' as though he is answering to HS's finished explanation of the Viscount by how the flow of the dialogue took place. The writing in this scene could have been a play on the dialogue and was the answer right in plain sight. There are other clues such as how the dad told HS the Viscount is a very smart and sharp person, has gone undetected for years, and his 'death' is also questionable with what exactly he took to 'kill' himself.

I give up on guessing who Kunwu is anymore and just be distracted with his good looks and see how the show unfolds. 🍷🍿

Ep 6 was when Yang Zeming told his deputy chief to notify Nighthawk to protect Hongshen. Since Ling Han is a NBIS agent, it shouldn't be him.

Don't fall into Kunwu's trap with Hongshen being the eye candy! 😝

Maybe that's why Kunwu wants Hongshen around, to keep us viewers distracted from figuring out who he is. 😏🤪

Which part?

EP 5 showed her flashback with her mom (?) and 2 other kids singing. Then it skipped to her walking into her household where everyone was killed and Ke Jinping running in right after and taking her away. This scene never showed a father figure.

I know this is not a good reason to go by, but there was a high resolution pic of Kunwu sitting in a trench coat with most of his face hidden with a head piece to his ears, and the face shape and nose resembles Ke Jinping. 🧐

Someone posted a backstory of the real events and said Ke Jinping has 2 routes that his character can take in the drama, but I'm starting to wonder if the screenwriter might change it and make him to be Kunwu instead. BUT, there are some reasoning behind that which causes me to be unsure if he could be the real Kunwu. 🤔
At this point I still speculate Wen Yeming and Hongqi are Kunwu's kids. So if this theory holds true, he could be Kunwu and it would make sense why he has Yeming under his supervision. Analysis to be continued....

I believe he's 'Nighthawk', secret agent assigned by Yang Ziming to protect Hongshen.

Cnets not paying attention to the plot and thirsting over Hongshen's looks in his outfits is .....🤣🤣
