Mi Lan and Kunwu are both Jap spies called upon by General Omakura who is in charge of the Secret Strategic Agent plan to help gather/infiltrate Changsa's military intelligence. Mi Lan looks like she reports to someone higher up based on her flashback, and not sure at the moment if Kunwu is a standalone operative. So basically Mi Lan and Kunwu are working in tandem for the Japanese takeover with each of them having their own mission.

I almost rolled my eyes when I thought the script was going towards that direction. Luckily it didn't and saved me an eye roll.

Explains why it dropped drastically from yesterday.

The pic that Mi Lan opened up, was the letter addressed to her? I wish they would sub writings on letters and correspondence. And who was that person in the drawing?

There are small players, big players, double identities, mystery characters, different factions so it does get very confusing.

Kunwu is still a mystery, but there are some people you can rule out already.

Ep 7 or 8 have scenes where it sounds like another voice than the first 6 eps, and the 2 recent eps has parts of CY's voice.

Pretty face, but masculine body. 😆 And so far I seem to be hearing three (?) different voice dubs for CY, including the one for himself. It's kinda distracting.

I think Mi Lan might be Onitetsu.

Ep 9: He can rival some of the prettiest girls out there. Is that why he has so many haters? 🤣🤣

And the two brothers working together is quite funny. I hope it doesn't end too soon.

Even though it's fun to figure out who Kunwu is, what I want to know next is how Hong Shen is going to develop a web to catch everyone in it. How good of a strategist will he be? 🕵️‍♂️

In my comment above, I think the 2 kids in the pic are Hongqi and Wen Ye Ming.

These are all guesses as I'm going along with the drama. I'm sure it'll be a different guess another day. 🤓

And he's Hong Qi and Wen Ye Ming's dad....

I'm starting to think now that Kunwu is a whole new character that hasn't been introduced yet.....

They better not fall in love then. 😬🤣

It would explain how Kunwu knew the dad's move so well. Now we gotta see if the rest of the drama matches up with this guess.
