Ah, the infamous sword dancing scene seen in it's entirety... 🤩 Whoever thought of the white and red outfit against the dark grey backdrop in this scene and the opening fighting scene should get a bonus
so LXY's appearance have changed so how everyone will recognise himm ???
Don't know why cdramas don't use prosthetics to change the look so it's more visually believable. It's hard to see one thing but hear an explanation that doesn't match. 🤦🏻♀️
I'm with you. I've never favored cruel people such as XL. The way he treats her is atrocious.
That's why people are picking their favorites. The book lays out all these positives and flaws from each character, so who do you choose that's best for you? It's a very thought provoking novel.

no excuse, but he is a nine-headed serpent demon 😏 but I think their connection is on a deeper level and not a 'I'll treat you like a princess everyday', that's why we have Ye Shi Qi. She's getting all her emotional needs met by each of the males around her.
it's like they are kindred spirits. when she was talking to him while flying on the bird, his facial expression…
she's her honest self when around him like she can tell him all her thoughts and secrets. their one on one conversation (mostly her side 😏) are so sad and heartfelt.
Somehow..i am afraid of sad ending because of its tittle
read that the author and yang zi from an interview, explains the title to mean a loss that people will experience through their life, may it be personal, life or love. so there's a deeper meaning for all the characters other than just a love relationship between a male and female
Yang zi actually nail this character of hers. I once like her in her pervious drama but later in her recently…
it's like they are kindred spirits. when she was talking to him while flying on the bird, his facial expression seems to show he understood and could relate to what she was saying
i was kinda sceptical seeing yanzi as xiao liu but now i actually really like her as xiao liu
so far they are sticking very close to the novel. didn't expect much from the male actors but they seem to be representing their characters quite well. it's like seeing the book come to cdrama life.

love how they are not dumbing down these scenes and interactions so far. the assertiveness and aggressive behavior is what makes the character Xiang Liu
