1. The king has already «died». The queen will mourn him, then he comes back alive. After all that he can’t die again. I think one of the cousins will die instead, if anyone. 2. All the tragedy here seems to be in the middle, not the end. And like mentioned they’re all fakeouts. DH didn’t really die, and the king blew himself up, queen wasn’t poisoned. 3. KJH’s new interview. He said he chose this project to lift up people’s spirits during covid. (aw) I’m guessing he’s not lying.
Happy ending! I’m going to bed now. It’s 1:30..<_<
I think Tae-oh wanted to find his daughter alive, and in the end realized that she wasn’t. Letting go of that guilt and focusing on the people that are alive, like Kut-nim, was his arc.
It’s unlikely he looked for her body for so long, and he probably didn’t abandon her in the end. Besides we basically saw her at the heart of the explosion.
Even with the reincarnation theory being correct, CJ would be falling in love with BW, not SY. A reincarnation is a separate entity. BW does things SY wouldn't ever do. The reason this is sooo funny is that they are polar opposites. We have little idea what SY is like, but she def isn't as "fun" as BW, and when she comes back CJ will know something's up.
And it's possible BW has her memories due to him literally being in her body. Memories physically exists in one's mind. It's only natural that his body is in a coma, it was quite high up from where he fell off so his body must be injured. If he doesn't wake up, it's either a plot device or he really is her reincarnation. That'd be weird, it means he kissed himself. But even then SY could be in BW's body, since characters meeting their past selves is not uncommon in time travel shows. I actually hope we'll see SY in more than just flashbacks.
The reason I compared it to Mr queen, is because period dramas have been so scarce this year. Only Arthdal and kingdom. :( The last sageuk was kingmaker, dreadful one. I'm a lover of the genre and Mr queen is top notch to me.
I am comparing the quality, I thought I would enjoy this just as much but it was a disappointment. I will watch it for Ahn naesang, but I can't find an ounce of originality here and the script is quite bad. Of course I actually don't need to compare them to express that. :)
lol I think the palace intrigue romance plotline is way more played out than the secret agent premise, plus both…
I find QC to be have a more innovative plot, script and outstanding acting from SHS and KJH. I struggle to find any creativity in this show. In the second episode, chunsam made an actual poop joke, he was running with his pants down, and his top secret mission literally fell out of his pocket. It's just not in my tastes..
I was looking forward to this..it's nothing like mr queen. It's bland, cliche and I've seen it a million times before. :/ I'll try to continue but it's looking bleak. So far 7/10. I hope there is more to LKY's character than idiocy and that I'll find some charm in this story eventually.
In the preview, they meet someone on the road. I just want him gone bleh

Lee minho is overrated. Much like Lee jong suk imo. They always choose boring "pretty" roles.
