You might be right..perhaps they are morally grey. Typically one is a sweetie and the other a psycopath, like those I mentioned above. Still Taejong is remembered as a tyrant who did horrendous things(he crossed the line killing your own family and Poeun), so I hope Whi is good he should be like Moohyul and leave BW in the end.

Is Nam Sunho the bad character here? To me it seems like Whi is the protagonist and NSH is like Yihun in nokdu flower or PKW's character in bridal mask.

But yi bang won is a historical villain so bad many korean people refused to see sfd. You cant make him good.
