Probably just common haters. Most dramas have some people that hate on certain actors or actresses and deliberately rate low all their dramas. No idea why, prob 'coz they have no life and believe their faves are the highest entity above all.

I get your point. But if you check the rating per episodes here, some people were deliberately rating the unaired episodes low, thus affects the whole rating. MDL should really fix this features, so people can't rate episodes that have not yet aired...

You are right. "Niang zi" is not only means an endearment for wife, but it could also means Lady. Same like "furen". If it's used by a husband to a wife, the translator translate it to Dear, Darling, Honey, etc. But when it's used by maids or someone else, it translated to Madam.
