If you look into the poster, just above the title, there's an inscription which, in English, says "I recognized you when I first saw you". I guess the hand that is touching Mu Deok Yi's face is Jang Wook's. So does that mean Mu Deok Yi had some connection to Jang Wook back when she was Nak Soo?
I just saw the new teaser with the snippets of the drama, and it is hilarious! Jung Somin embodies "looks like a cinnamon bun but can k*ll you" (her death glare though) XD
Why is Hwang Min Hyun's hair short like a modern hairstyle?
Beside the fantastical setting, I think this drama is a fusion sageuk, mixing historical elements with modern ones, which explains the liberties taken for the styling. But then again, before his stills were released, I thought Minhyun would have a top knot.
Ok, with the ML's memory the only way he could've failed this Civil Servant Exam is if someone was messing with…
Technically, the civil servant exam is a multiple choice test, but it is difficult because it requires you to know the codes and specifics of the level you're aiming for. So I was thinking that maybe Daesung's memory is actually selective and about remembering events from his life: he seems to retain information that has to do with his mother's grocery store and the patrons.
The casting reminds me of that of "Beauty Inside" the film. We had Park Seojun, Seo Kangjoon, Lee Hyunwoo, Lee Jinwook, Lee Dongwook and Yoo Yeonseok all in one screen lol
I think based on their descriptions, all three guys will fall in love with the heroine à la "You're Beautiful", another Hong Sisters' drama. Their overall characters even remind me of the A.N.JELL trio: Jang Wook (Lee Jaewook) → Hwang Taekyung (Jang Keunsuk) Seo Yul (Minhyun) → Kang Shin-woo (Jung Yonghwa) Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seungho) → Jeremy (Lee Hongki)
I see a lot of fans on twitter saying that Arin was supposed to play Female lead, it was Park Hae eun who was…
The way the production company announced Arin's casting was like Shin Ye-eun in "Rookie Cops". I thought she was the female lead because she was revealed first to be cast alongside Kang Daniel. But then they announced Chae Soo-bin as the leading actress, and the rest of the supporting cast, with no new mention of Shin Ye-eun until it was shown her part was a cameo after the drama's premiere :/
Seems like it's the Hong Sisters' "return" to fusion sageuks lol Did not expect the female lead's characterization. She sounds like the heroine of Chinese soul migration novels, who is actually a multi-skilled agent from the future and ultimately ends up in the body of a noble miss from a historic period following an accident.
Very comprehensive list! I would add supernatural to this because it would be interesting to see how they would…
I also thought about Supernatural, but then I thought I was being far-fetched hehe I picture Hong Jong-hyun as Sam, Lee Kyu-hyung as Castiel and Kim Eui-seong as Crowley XD
So far, I love how the screenwriter used weather as metaphors for phases in relationships and in the narrative. Not sure if I got it right, but the shift in seasons and the resulting ambiguity illustrates Hakyung's hesitation in turning flutters (Spring) to passion (Summer). Visibility was well incorporated into the storytelling, and the twist in the end of episode 4 illustrated that space can alter our perception of our surroundings :)) Overall I could see that the screenwriter really gave her time and love to craft the script. It's expected but I just find it ironic how the main and second couples are antitheses of each other. I also like how the higher-ups and work seniors are not here to rip into the protagonist - it may appear unrealistic, but dramas are breathers from our everyday life, so they don't always have to reflect every single detail. I'm actually surprised and not surprised by the pace of Hakyung and Siwoo's relationship. It's sped up to garner audience's interest but at the same time, it's given time for it to set in place after all the sizzling that follows first impressions.
Do you think the second leads marriage will not last long?
Don't think so, unless they go through some big cataclysm which ultimately puts their faithfulness into test and strengthens their love as a result. I think Kijoon married Yoojin to prove that their love was "real", and not a side fling, which was rather rash. Plus there's the fact they didn't really start their relationship on a fresh new slate because Kijoon doesn't know that Yoojin was already in a serious relationship when they were seeing each other. So yeah their marriage is pretty much a recipe for disaster.
The female lead, Jieum, is hilarious because she is so shameless and blunt because she has been reborn countless times, so hardly nothing gets her. In contrast, the male lead, Seoha, is always flushing and gasping lol
yoon park really knows how to play the role of a prick. hope his relationship is miserable this this show such…
Haha I was thinking if he'll ever play a character worse than Woo-il from "Introverted Boss", and Kijoon seems to be a close fit because he's such a realistic jerk.
