It's just like the "beginning" female lead in innocent man to me... I don't like her. She seems very two-faced and power hungry and I don't sympathize with her much. I just finished ep. 4 and I am really happy with the "intro" although I really prefer the professor so much more than the chaebol right now :P

Not much now :P Just enjoying the little holiday I'll get - Just finished Ep. 3 and I am sooo happy that I didn't either a) spend 3 years in egypt or b) skip over 3 years ^^ nice twist. I really like the professor + main girl better than the rich guy + main girl though and I figure it's going to be another 'hope for side character' incident unless the chaebol picks up his game XD That being said I just think the professor looks better as well. On to ep 4!

Haha oh wow that was a lot and fast! My Princess by name sounds the most like something I'd watch, but then there's Yoo In Na... I will think of it tonight but I think I will go for My Princess first :D Especially since it sounds like another theme like King2Hearts

I am up for anything now, I feel fairly balanced - I guess I am really looking for something romantic or cute is most likely, because I really want to root for a main character from the start ^_^ Honestly anything could work though... I think that's the reason I'm so stuck.

Absolutely no idea :P You will have to give a final verdict on Vineyard man btw :) I looked at my plan to watch list and none of them really jumped out, probably because 2 of them were currently airing. I have no idea what to watch really ><

Just finished it, I really enjoyed it throughout.. <3 LMH makes everything amazing. It's hard to judge the ending because I was sympathetic that it ended early. It tied most things up, was sorta romantic and I was ok with it. I guess because it was 8 episodes only (and 45 minute episodes) it didn't need to explain a lot in the end.. I really enjoyed it overall and I think it's a perfect "interval" drama when you just want something light

I have no idea, I just found this:
In a ten-part Star Diary interview published in 2010, Lee Min-ho talks about how he felt when he was chosen to play the lead in Mackerel Run.
Originally slated to be sixteen episodes, the drama was abruptly halved. In fact, Lee Min-ho learned about the cut only two episodes before its finale, when he was working on Episode 6. The station?s decision left him heartbroken. ?I guess I felt dejected because I was working so hard and they told me the show was going to end.?
So far I've really loved it and I recommend it though - I remember you're not a huge fan of school dramas but maybe LMH counters that ;)
lol, thank god I'm not in drama land on second thought, I'd never get the girl :(
That being said, don't most dramas do a "X months/years later" where most of the supporting cast seem to have settled together? /beg

Yeah I'll finish it tonight, apparently it was meant to be 16 episodes but got cut short and LMH (and other actors I assume) found out during filming ep. 6 that it would be cut to 8. I'm not expecting much of an ending but it's been enjoyable regardless :D

It's such a refreshing change, even with a 'dramatic' ending I just end an episode with a smile on my face. Maybe it's LMH and the girl from IM, or maybe it's just the dramas pretty good I'm not sure which but I've enjoyed it ^_^. In other news, I really hate rooting for the secondary character to be successful when by definition they won't be :(

My Lee Min Ho obsession is just unhealthy, already tonight I am starting episode 4, and loving it. Even with the completely over the top comedic acting I can't stop watching him

Mackerel run so far = ridiculous/hilarious. It's definitely different from what I'm used to (and low budget) but I think I will just enjoy it ^_^. It's good to hear positives things about Vineyard Man as you are getting towards the end of it btw XD

I will have to look into them :D And yes I am hoping to hit into a less depressing drama next so I can "enjoy" it more ^^ I will also probably search for a mackerel run upload

I was drawn in immediately by the main character (like the first 15 minutes) and I knew I would struggle to drop it as I just had to find out what would happen to him. Around episode 18 or so I thought "what's the point they're all doomed to fail" but the drama had so many twists and turns, even if it was formulaic. I think if it had ended differently (how I was expecting it to end upon starting the last episode) I would've been furious just because I would've hated the writers for doing the horrid things I was expecting.
Luckily that didn't happen :P I feel that it rounded up true to their style but in an acceptable way. It was painful to watch at times, the characters so pitiful that you just wanted to shelter them and tell them it'll be ok, somehow.
I have no idea what I'm going to watch next. I will probably look at the list tonight.

So.. finally finished it after a bit of a marathon today. I feel like I've been on an emotional rollercoaster through the last episodes, sometimes screaming mentally that "it can't end like this", with the last episodes having more twists than a twister icecream-lolly...
I don't want to spoil it, but while it wasn't the best drama and was quite formulaic at times, it really tugged on me towards the end. I think the whole last episode I was in tears.
