The last episode was pretty good. I don't want to give anything away in case you decide to watch it but I found the ending unexpected and quite 'intense'. I was content with most of the stories being wrapped up in the end (well pretty much all of them bar 1 maybe) but I wasn't particularly happy with the method they did it. Regardless I enjoyed it and enjoyed the ending and found the drama to have more romance in the last 3 episodes than the first 25 combined... It was quite a sad drama about family, loyalty, and loneliness it seemed. Not as sad as some but really wasn't at all a "happy" or comedy type drama for even 1 episode xD

I have made it set in my mind that the director of Bridal Mask had mood swings, after little-to-no romance it felt like ep 27 was 95% romantic scenes.
Honestly it really annoys me when they add an element in the last episode/2 episodes that clearly required more of the story (and could've been brought in earlier), but I can't say much without spoiling just incase you do decide to watch it ^^.
Maybe try 49 days? I enjoyed that one but it is definitely the saddest drama I've watched. Really really emotional.

eh.. 1900's really isn't my thing. I wouldn't watch another drama lightly back in that era really. The story really makes up for it and makes it worth watching, though. I was considering looking at Shutup Flower Boy Band after this, maybe something to look at? ^^

It's been a mixed journey, I tend to love one episode and get bored of another 20+. I'm thinking it could've been max 24 >< It's been a really great rollercoaster story (once again I agree - almost no romantic scenes but a lot of the story revolves around love) and I am interested to see how it will end. After Ep 25 I was listening to the OST's while at work but I started watching 26 today and nothing has happened so far :P I will reserve rating, but I am planning on giving it at least an 8. I really loved the characters in the story and the story itself.

a kdrama about baseball? XDDD Bridal Mask got better the episode after, with 18 being my favourite episode yet (romance, action, great dramatic ending etc xD) I'm wondering how exactly its gonna end as the drama has had a tendency to flip things on hit's head a few times

Hi there, thanks for the friends request :D I see you're currently watching 3 dramas at once though so I'll hold back on some recommendations until it seems you have time XD As Maeline said I loved City Hunter too though, my favourite drama!

16 episodes in to bridal mask and at the end of this one I thought "how many times is the same problem going to come up" >< gets a bit dull but it's a shame because most of the story has been really interesting so far.

honestly I watched To the Beautiful You because of the music tbh XD Loved the OST. I thought the ending was romantic with the whole radio (i think?), but I can't remember it too well... If there was something I really liked about that drama its that I kept guessing wrong about whether he'd actually make the jump. Almost everytime I got fooled into believing "It'll happen this time!" :P

I really liked the president ending bit (the last episode in general) in city hunter, it's just those last 10 minutes where YOU ARE ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT hoping that it all turned out fine for him and then nothing romantic at all D:

I have to agree with that :P I found Boys Over Flowers last episodes to just... were a different story in general. I think it's also the longest drama I've seen ahead of faith which also dragged on a bit

Yes I am really enjoying it! I had to tear myself away at 1am reminding myself I had work in the morning. Honestly though, it's not that there isn't love stories (quite interesting ones IMO), it's that there isn't really romantic scenes. The drama is very dark and serious the entire time, I don't think there has been even an affectionate holding of hands never mind anything else between the main characters :P
I am hesitant to recommend it as parts of it feel just like a city hunter without the romantic scenes (and in the 1900's). I'm still not sure whether I can give it a 9/10 due to the time-period alone, but the lead character has been extremely interesting to me and that has been what has made me enjoy it so much.

So far I'd have to agree with that article, there is a lack of romance in it so far. There are romantic "elements" it just really takes a backstep and the story is all about the police officer vs bridal mask it seems.

Just started Bridal Mask.. part of it is a bit western like (not my style) but mostly it seems like a reverse city hunter (prosecutor POV). End of ep.2 and I definitely plan to watch more :) Story seems really interesting, too.

I have no idea what I'm going to watch next :P I rewatched city hunter episodes 3-4 during the week because I love it so much but still I have trouble rewatching old dramas entirely. I just tend to "remember" it better after a few episodes then be content with that...
I tried Reply 1997 and while the story really is something interesting the drama feels like it was filmed for 1 hour slots but fit into 30 mins each. It's hard to believe it's the end of the episode when they actually cut while a character is speaking... I really like some of the more serious/darker themes going on in a very lighthearted drama though (like QIHM actually), maybe I will try more episodes again in the future. Got stuck @ 6 this time.
I will probably browse the A-Z to find something new to watch, though :P

aww episode 9 just mad everything worse :( She seems so isolated noone understanding her now... Reminds me of this song:
http://youtu.be/wGL3WEqKYDo (may not be to your taste XD), the song just makes me think of loneliness and isolation like she's in.. and it just went on the whole episode. I had my hands together nearly in tears hoping he would show up ><
