I started watching it blind not thinking much because BL in chinese drama land was sure to be underwhelming, and now I've been hooked. I finished both the drama and novel and I'm going through withdrawal. Can anyone help?
Ha ! I am so happy to learn that there will be a sequel, I have read the novel and felt upon finishing the drama that it seemed unfinished. I was coming to complain as it seemed that a lot of plotholes were left untouched, like what happened with Prince Ning and Mr. 3rd anb between the later and his wife as well as with liu chang and the princess and off course the lovestory of the two ML. I was startled especially as I'd felt that the screewriters had done a good job remastering the story adapting it as a drama. But Now, oh boy, I am so excited! I hope they release the second season soon, I am afraid it won't be as good or as well received as the viewers interest might decrease (remebering what happened with LYF); Does anyone know if they finished shooting and, or if they have passed review and censorship?

you're right, the emperor is a piece of his own, but that's what humanises him and brings him down to believable level. I mean who would stand with an outsider instead of his own wife and son? or at least who would be unwilling to give them a second and or third chance when they err? the message I believe is that he is human and therefore imperfect be he remains benevolent. The writing of his character is meant to make us forgive him for his shortcomings but kudos if you don't, I personally find him too calculative (as he should be) and I feel disappointed that he unsared Song Mo again to help the Crown prince with the antidote... I loed the empress, so much courage and strength, so vicious too. It was brilliantly played.
So happy, I can' wait for this drama to be released. This novel is on of my absolute favorites and I also love both leads. After wathing Blossom I think the drector has great potential. To sum it up I have great expectations for this one. Please make it well and make it fast!

yes it was def one of my favorite parts,I was so happy to see the pattern on her inner robe I wondered what it was from the first glance and Song Mo's reaction seemed so natural, both actors did a great job. That scene was most fun

yes I understand that what has happened recently is a grave matter but I still give up for now. I might focus more on the current political situation and watch it once it has finished airing . It will be more enjoyable.
Well this is very disappointing. I mean I learned after watching the first episode that there would be delays on the december 14 the and 21 st episodes but this is getting ridiculous. Are they doing it on purpose to hype it up? the show didnt need it since it was interesting but I don't think I can do this anymore, I guess this is one show I will give up on at least for now. I hope they resolve their issues.

This actor is such a gem! He is one of my favorite characters is "a dream of splendor" his acting was just perfect: the line delivery, the expressions were on point. I hope that I get to see more of him in the future. He is truly talented.
