firstly, james is ken's peace and ken has mentioned that multiple times himself not word to word but in his own little ways he has. Second, kens purpose isn't tied to james just like your purpose isn't tied to your partner, partner isnt the purpose of life but partner can help one attain their purpose..

i don't understand how is.. james selfish !? wanting to live a future with someone you love is selfish, then everybody is selfish ? if anything that dude is selfless and not selfish.

colours james sees are not colours based on wether people are lying or not, simply different soul colours of different people.. he said it himself, he can see people's soul colour.

firstly I don't think(just my pov) thats chita.. that's the nour who kills other nours which means he/it is more powerful and has additional powers that other nours dont which explains the change in colour
