Kind of gland Heejin is over Hyeyeon now. I hope things work out for Sujin and Heejin or at least a date happens.…
I think the funny thing about Seungho is that he's the type to be completely blinded by love. Once he has a crush on someone, it clouds his judgment. He gets so fixated on that one person that everyone and everything else just fades into the background. That's why, even though he arguably had better chemistry with another contestant from our perspective as viewers, he still chose his date with Jinwoo because his crush on him was so obvious. I can't really say the same for Jinwoo, though.
ISTG, I loved this drama so much that I was genuinely ready to dethrone my longest-standing—or rather, my only—No. 1 BL of all time: The Untamed. And if you know me, you'll know how insane that is. I've watched well over 100 BLs, yet nothing has ever replaced it—until Lost to You made me think, "Holy shit... this might actually be the one." Jiayi and Chengzhi were phenomenal. Their chemistry was absolutely INSANE, and they made Xu Yuan and Zhan Wang feel so real that I completely forgot I was watching actors. Which is exactly why the finale left me so conflicted.
I'm incredibly relieved they didn't end the story tragically because I spent the entire finale genuinely scared that Zhan Wang was going to die. But once that relief wore off, I realized I wasn't disappointed by what happened—I was disappointed by how it happened. The biggest moment the finale had been building toward happens almost entirely off-screen. We never see the treatment, Xu Yuan waiting for news, or that emotional payoff after everything they'd been through. On top of that, too much time went to the side couples instead of our main couple. I wanted to actually experience their happy ending, not just have it implied. Even the meteor shower sequence could've been more powerful if it had been intercut with Zhan Wang's treatment instead of leaving so much to our imagination.
Despite all of that, I'd still recommend this drama 100% because one finale doesn't erase everything that came before it. Jiayi and Chengzhi delivered incredible performances, and Xu Yuan and Zhan Wang became one of my favorite couples because of how much trust, respect, and unconditional love they shared.
As for my rating, I'm going to hold off for now. I want to give the finale more time to grow on me before deciding where this drama truly belongs in my rankings. This was the first BL in years that made me believe it could finally replace The Untamed. Maybe, after a few rewatches, it'll still get there. Right now, though... I'm just not ready to make that call yet.
I think he has wanted to kiss Nueng since day one look at the way he stares at him and his daydream about dancing…
I saw the tongue too ! Never seen a tongue being used better than in this episode. I do wish diao moved a little or was a little more into the kiss. Palm he has been lying to himself about but has been catching feelings for and likewise, that being the case would’ve been better if we could see diao’s heart beating, hand gestures or something but more than just sitting there. 🙈 but nonetheless 10/10 for it being their first kiss. I loved it.
The script doesn't make sense cause the screenwriters want the plot to go a certain way with no regard for plausibility.…
The only thing I’m not a fan of or am disappointed in is the way diao’s parents died so quickly and the way they died was so stupid.. like why was there only 1 security guard at the gate considering how dangerous it is for diao’s family to even step outside. Why weren’t there multiple guards guarding the main gate ? Diao’s mom died/got shot too easily and very early. Also the action is poorly executed. Other than that acting is great, chemistry is off the charts. Pond phuwin are doing amazing. Pond was overdoing in the starting eps but with every ep he’s excelling this challenging role ! I didn’t see phuwin overact as you said but he sounds irritated most of the time which is funny yet annoying to watch
The kiss was magical and intense. neungdiao and palm are such complicated characters I can never tell what they’re thinking. Did palm kiss diao because he likes him or out of duty where’s he expected to protect and take care of Diao ?? what is everyone’s thoughts
Respectfully...
WHERE, JIAYI? 😭 WHERE?! HUHUUU
