The problem with this (other than average writing) is that Doona is not likeable at all. She doesnāt evoke the kind of emotion or sympathy that she should. And Iām talking objectively without any bias for Suzy!
āThe intimate scenes were done well but steam even a lot of it does not a worthwhile series makeā- this made me chuckle so hard because itās damn true!
One of the greatest things to come out of this drama was Ahn Bo Hyunās soundtrack- ėģ ģ§ėė ģ ė“ź° ģģģ¤ź» (Iāll embrace your past). Listening to it on repeat, I canāt help but get fully immersed in the magical yet melancholic world of Seo Ha and Ji Eum
Everyone wondering why there was no answer to the question- āwho killed Joo Ranās sister?ā isnāt grasping the real objective of this story. The sisterās killer has no bearing on this plot whatsoever but it does build the premise that Joo Ran has been suffering psychologically and she has been greatly traumatized by the event, leading her to be such an easy target for gaslighting.
I have also just released subs for episode 3. We are half way there! ;)
Thank you so much for doing this! But Iām unable to open ep 1. Iām using the Mega app and ep 2 onwards works fine. Can you please check if anything is wrong with the link for ep 1? Thank you!!!
Yeah I was also confused about that. It was a useless plot point tbh.
Yeah I didnāt like that either. Some might find it cool and deserving but I wished Do Young didnāt get his hands dirty. Jae Joon shouldāve just died by the hands of one of the bullies.
I agree and with the romance bit feel like many of those who didnāt like the love line with YeoJeong wouldnāt…
āDong Eun helping Yeo Jung get his revengeā- Would you consider being in prison not enough of a punishment? By that logic, Dong Eunās revenge on Yeon Jin is also incomplete. Who is to say Yeon Jin wonāt send tormenting letters to Dong Eun from prison lol. This is why Yeo Jungās part of the story was quite odd to me.

Haha I feel the same way! Iām assuming Jae Joon wanted to know about So Hee because he was the one who sexually assaulted her leading to the pregnancy? I also did not understand how he ended up all the way on the roof of that building while being essentially blind lol. The story is not as tightly wrapped as many think. I definitely liked it but there were many unexplained or unnecessary scenes. Iām curious to see how the rating changes in the coming weeks.

I think Korea has laws about statute of limitation for a crime. Not sure if it was just too long ago. At least the murderer was revealed and So Heeās mom found closure.
