I've heard such good things about this drama, but am hesitant due to the coach/mentor dynamic. I just don't want to romanticize grooming, ya know? Can anyone tell me if this has a student/teacher, mentor/mentee, vibe, or if there is a clear point where it is two adults talking? Thanks!
After dropping this when it aired, I finally went back and rewatched and finished it. Thanks to the advice here, I happily skipped all of the side couple stories and found it to be quite enjoyable!
I’ve just started this and the only thing I’m really struggling with is what father would let his daughter sacrifice herself like that?? It was the one reason I’ve delayed starting this because I just can’t accept it. I shall keep going though…
I was super mixed about starting this after reading the comments, but decided to anyway after checking out more reviews. Got to say, so far I LOVE IT. It is like all my favorite tropes/storytelling mashed together. I'm only like 1/5 of the way through, so my opinion may change, but so far no regrets
I love this so far!! Ive only watched the first3 episodes (as that’s what is on Viki) but there are so many things I like about it. Can’t wait for more :)
Before I start this, I was enjoying the show description till the end. She quits after being rejected? Please…
After being rejected she decides to put her career first— taking her book elsewhere and getting the chance to be a scriptwriter for it with someone who is passionate about her work is absolutely the right call. So no, she doesn’t leave just because her love didn’t work out.
Noo..I was so looking forward to this but I think I'm putting it on hold, indefinitely. Everything is just kind of falling flat for me. Also I wished they wouldn't have dubbed over Z Tao's voice.
I finally broke down and watched the trailers I had previously avoided because I didn’t want spoilers (I’m caught up to ep6) as I wanted to see more of them and OH MY GOSH I am sooo looking forward to when they are both adults. They are everything <3
