I’m so happy I ignored all the discussion about this show and just watched it. It’s been awhile since I’ve found a show so easy to watch and finish. Was it perfect? Nope. Did I love it? Most definitely. I felt engaged and invested the entire time, which is pretty rare for me, especially with this genre. I usually burn out by the third act. But no, I really loved and enjoyed watching this.
I’m trying to avoid spoilers as I’ve only finished ep31, but can someone explain the significance of the red beans to me? It was obviously a big deal but idk why.
As someone who read the WEBTOON first, I’m actually liking this adaptation much more than the kdrama version!! Ahhhh this is so exciting I feel far more invested here
I have to say, I really loved the first 10 episodes. I just finished ep11 and I think I’m going to drop it and just read the novel instead. There’s a lot of good things about this drama….but also a lot of bad. The sound mixing is driving me insane. Like no live audio was taken at all. And the directing is not good. I don’t need kisses in a drama, but the editing around the fade to black ones is sooo choppy it feels like nothing happened at all. I disagree with everyone who said there’s no chemistry. There’s oodles of it, but after the first 10 episodes it just doesn’t have anywhere to go. Loved the leads. Love the story. Think I’d be better off just reading the rest.
I know LHC doesn't do kissing scenes and i respect that but DAMN the chemistry is chemistrying and it would be…
I don't think you can star in a drama called "be passionately in love"/"fall into our passion" and *not* have a kiss scene... as this is part of the description--
"From then on, they heal each other and protect each other, falling into an endless, passionate love affair."
As someone who has this drama on hold, can someone spoil how the comic plot-line went? I honestly was more invested in the drama with her career than the romance in the beginning. I plan to go back and finish this eventually. But please! Spoil me!!
Any novel readers want to spoil me with how the work plot line turns out? Specially with how the assistant/pen name/dueling snowboarding comics thing goes?
If you're looking for something light, fluffy, silly, and cute, this is the drama for you (having finished the first 6 episodes). I don't love *everything* about it, but it is super enjoyable and an easy watch. I love both the two pairings so far and look forward to more development between both! I can't wait for more.
I put off watching this for so long due to all the negative comments when it was airing. Finally started it and I love it. It moves slow, but that's to be expected with 40 episodes. I like the focus on their individual growth and professions, as well as slowly learning the history and *why* behind where they are today.
