I just finished rewatching a drama last week, It was FLOWER OF EVIL. It was my fourth watch of the show. If you've watched it, you'll know that certain episodes fill you with a lot of dread and anxiousness, and no matter how many time I rewatch it, I always experience those feelings again. It's my favourite kdrama and it has been since 2020. <3 But I frequently rewatch japanese dramas a lot. Sometimes, I'll just watch a few episodes at random because most of my favourite ones always spark joy and keep me going when I have a tough time. It's especially nice since most are only 10 episodes and are 20-40 minute long episodes. Most of my comfort dramas are japanese :)
before the same ppl reply to me saying that im being rude and judging the actors for no reason -- i'm not dissing…
I was thinking the same, especially for the male actors. The actors just don't...fit my view of them based on the webtoon. I'm such a fan of the webtoon and this adaptation was a surprise so I do have high expectations.
exile tribe members really out here releasing one infidelity drama after another....first Iwata Takanori w/Fishbowl Wives, and now Sato Taiki. This started a day after the release of Fishbowl Wives as well. I'm not complaining though. I love fictional drama . Plus I wanna see him play ML and not 2nd ML. Can't wait to actually watch it.
Unpopular opinion: infidelity dramas aren't as bad as you think...! People are tearing this drama to pieces even though it hasn't even started because of what it is about. Yes, I think cheating is bad and I don't condone it in real life, but this is fictional. It is a fictional story which offers multiple perspectives on a controversial topic. But that doesn't mean it is trying to justify cheating. It only explains why people make such decisions. Rather than thinking of this as a show justifying infidelity, think of it as a show which shows the consequences of one's actions and the external forces which have led them to making such decisions. You can't criticise it without giving it a chance. But if you don't want to watch it, that's also fine. Just mark it as Not Interested and move on. From personal experience, most, if not all of that dramas which feature infidelity have an ending where the couple are able to be together. Heck, one of the dramas I've watched ended with one of them dying. Please stop and think before you judge or hate :)
I LOVE THIS!! I've recently switched to watching mostly Jdramas because of the same reasons you've already mentioned. And I really like the cast choices you made :)
my heart flutters everytime i see the interactions between shinohara ryoko and iwata takanori in the trailer.....i'm so excited for this to be released!!!
A gamble ? why? it was her debut and she made simply her job. Why make fuss when it would not be the case for…
Is that comment about Japan banning certain actresses if they do sexual scenes? I've seen Yoshitaka Yuriko in a sexual film from over a decade ago and she's been in plenty of other works since that have no other sexual scenes. And it's the same with male actors who have done sexual work - they've done other work too. I'm curious about that now. Also, this comment section is so pressed about Kim Go Eun starring in this. I haven't seen this yet, but , it's her body and she can choose what she stars in.
Honestly, I'm not surprised. When I heard they were planning to make a remake of the movie, especially with an…
Oh gosh...I didn't realise Hyun Jun got hate for his role in colour rush. I actually enjoyed seeing him in it. I'm not familiar with the original movie but I expect that Jaehyun would have gotten A LOT of hate for the role since he is promoted as a prince-like idol. It's unfortunate that society's perceptions about LGBT aren't getting better with certain demographics, especially idol fans. But, from comments I've seen, the film itself is apparently homophobic, so maybe it's a good thing.
But Jaehyun really isn't experiencing luck when it comes to his acting career, which is a shame because I am interested in seeing him act, despite the hate idols get for acting.
Hehe, you and me today...hahaha. This is the actual reason I did not like Squid Game as much. I do not empathize…
I love Gong Yoo's cameo. Even though my friends are familiar with Kdramas, they aren't familiar with him so never picked up on it, but I absolutely loved his cameo
