I thought that was really weird as well. It's made me dislike his character. Ever since he said it, I'm finding more and more faults with some of the things he says. A few episodes later, whilst he's telling a r*** victim it's not her fault, his tone and demeanour is the exact opposite as well. It's rubbing me the wrong way

oh, and now at the start of ep 8, the ML's mum says to her dad that the reason she was allowed to marry her husband is because she was pregnant. She got pregnant when she was at uni...is it going where I think it's going? Am I right to insinuate that??
1 episode in and the only thing that's made me uncomfortable at the moment is how much of a little brat the ML…
during one of the earlier episodes, the director gives the FL a clock and when she opens it at home, there's a scene of the director in his home of him trying to console his gf who is in a room saying he gave it to her because they didn't need it. Then, the director gets a notification on his computer and checks it immediately. WHAT WAS IT?? Ever since the first ep, I kept thinking the director had something for the FL, and after the clock incident, I was convinced he's stalking her/put a camera in the clock or something (b/c of the notif he got), but now I'm on ep 8 and there's been no development in that area and it's driving me crazyyyy.
And then, during ep 6, THE PLOT THICKENS. And I was too busy trying to figure out the director's sus behaviour to notice the clues about the FL and the ML's mum. That little plot twist makes me wonder why this isn't marked as a thriller. A student-teacher relationship drama is bound to be dark no matter what, but somehow, this drama is labelled as a 'romance', 'youth' and 'drama' for its genre. And now that the plot twist has been revealed, what will the rest of the drama be about? I'm going to be annoyed if it turns into 'love is love' and 'age is nothing but a number' propaganda narrative
the ML after ep 16 reminds me of Mason from Wizards of Waverly Place when he comes back when Alex has moved out and is being all possessive and obsessive and weird over her. Like, chill the fuck out.

The ML is nicer when he's blind. He gets his sight back and becomes the biggest jerk. He's possessive over the FL, admits to stalking her, kisses her on the mouth when she's asleep before they had even spoken to each other properly after the time skip.
And I'm convinced the mother only accepted him because he wasn't blind and had parents.
So, the first third of this drama we get to know the ML and how he hates the idea of kids being pitied for being orphans or disabled. But then, after the time skip, a boy with autism is treated so weirdly to me, and pitied. A random guy who was relevant only for the ML to get jealous meets the boy and is basically pitying him. And then, in episode 20, the ML's step-aunt is talking to the FL, and the boy is brought up, and she says 'autism? ML used to have that. I think he's still suffering from the side effects' WTF?? And then, she proceeds to talk about how hard it's been for ML since they broke up whilst showing her photos that were taken of her on blind dates w/o her knowledge. But later we find out it's ok because he couldn't get himself to look at the photos anyways. Why are they all justifying him?? Back to the kid, the fact that the FL doesn't even defend him and say that there's nothing wrong with him also annoys me. Why does she even look after him?
I don't understand...was she a volunteer? And when we first meet him, the mother is going on about being worried about her son needing treatment for his autism, and instead of explaining to her what autism is, the FL just makes her sign a form. Like bro, what the fuck is this? That's not how that works, where's the professionals to give information about this?? This girl (the FL) is just a radio presenter.
those last 2 episodes need to be erased from history. they really fucked up those last 2 episodes. especially the last one. it's so unnecessary. he's getting jealous of an autistic 10 year old and when he cries, he says men don't cry. wtf was he even staying at their house when he has a mother. and then the FL's pregnant. and then she nearly has a miscarriage then she's fine. and then the kid's 4 and it finishes. and what about them randomly introducing the fact that her friend died and she just hallucinates her or something and then not give it any resolution.
I'm so mad at how badly they messed this drama up. It's so INFRURIATING!! I can't help but think a completely new writer took over the last part of the drama and didn't bother to read/watch everything before it.
And I'm only this mad because of how much I LOVED the first part
