LoL —that’s the way these scripts are usually written, right? Although, his anger and words are extremely harsh, it’s understandable and comes from being hurt. Thought the same thing, someone should teach him a lesson, so it would be great if Min Hui did… but that’s where I’ll stop. Must watch more and wait to find out what happens, I’m just about done myself, on Ep26 now… enjoy!
Oh. Em. Gee. Ep24 just as ughhhh as Ep23, Shan Shan even more annoying too. Can’t believe the advice she’s giving her friend and worse, Shu Yi believes her, seriously!? Now, 3 days until the new Eps… think I’ll just wait a few weeks to binge the rest so I can REALLY fast forward through all the parts I won’t be able to stomach anymore… I’ve been patient enough *SMH 🤦🏻♀️
Ironic and funny how many fan reactions are the same after the latest Ep23, I’m feeling the same way. And I love someone’s comments as “copy and paste”, seems quite right in explaining how this show is going. But that happens a lot, doesn’t it!? I always wondered why that is with C-Dramas.
I definitely won’t give up on this one, I like the leads too much and am enjoying THEIR story as well as the niece and the Professor’s story. Hoping at least it’s a decent ending. Everything else, I pretty much do what I always do… fast forward, ha! 🤞🏼😉🙏🏼
I liked shan shan in the beginning, but now i just can't with her rotten love advices, she hasn't had any stable…

LOL —I like that response @Babyface369 “skip to the good parts” 🤭 I’m with you @Movie Addict love both leads too but I find lots of parts I can’t seem to watch through. Too much screen time on other characters I found to be unnecessary making me skip through them. Currently on episode 18 and won’t drop it though, because the lead scenes are too good to pass up, and I want to see how this ends.
He DOES remind me of Cheng Yi, wow the resemblance! Catching him for the first time watching New Life Begins now, and think he’s great, will have to watch more of his work asap!
Goooood grief (>.<) For the sake of being a LJL fan, this was sooo hard to even finish. What a toxic relationship, eek! As far as mini dramas go, I’d recommend watching A Familiar Stranger instead… Next!
My 3rd rewatch and still one of my faves! If only it could be an ongoing series and we’d see a Season 3 soon. This show just had all kinds of good feels, great laughs and lots of cries. Still so many possible story lines that could be created, so fingers crossed they’ll make a comeback 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Ugh! Allow me to emphasize the third “ugh” in comments LoL. Endured 20 episodes so far, and although I think the overall girl comes back for revenge plot seems to be okay… it is a bit drag! I think the wanna-be FL and the Dowager characters are annoying me more than anything. Honestly, it’s hard to enjoy the show as a whole, but as always I’ll wait it out to see what the next 19 episodes will bring… hopefully a good ending at least, ha!
