Hmm, had some reservations on this based on casting but I’m mostly curious about the ML’s back story and the truth he’s looking to uncover. His older sister is quite hard to watch, she’s annoying as heck the way she treats him. Along with the FL having to struggle with so called social status at her job, pretty mean and nasty bullying… yeah, it’s just a show but I don’t like it one bit. Just hope the writing ends with a good sense of justice for the both ML and FL.

So funny, loved it! Giving it a second watch… already ha! Sad it’s only 10 episodes, and less than an hour each. But it doesn’t drag on or steers off the story course, so it was a good watch… enjoy! 👍🏼

Second watch! Ah, the slow romantic burn, the petty cat fights, the harsh and heartbreaking misunderstandings… oh the drama lol! For me, it was mainly the relationship development with ML and FL characters (love both actors Wallace Chung and Seven Tan), has an interesting storyline so everything in between is to be expected in these dramas ha! As usual, love the beautiful costumes and awesome martial arts… enjoy!

My second watch, yeah! More down time during Christmas and winter, I find myself rewatching one or two on my favorites list. Guess it gives me another perspective when watching again, but also reassurance of why I liked it so much. First, two of my favorite actors LW and ZLS and their characters, then there’s the complicated story between them. It also has a good amount of humor, (the emperor and grandmother are too funny) the drama, cat fights and some awesome martial arts. Whether it’s the slow burn, the angst, the frustration… as a viewer, you have the patience to endure it until the end, and not disappointed, it is still over all entertaining. I think early on (at least for me personally) when I can’t wait to watch what happens in the next episode, I already know I’m going to pretty much like it. Unless of course, the writing is not what’s expected ha! Hope you like it too… enjoy!

My second watch lol… and for me it’s just as enjoyable as the first time! I get to laugh, cry and swoon… and cry again at all the good bits. Just realized that every episode absolutely had something to talk about or most memorable. Like ep9 (about the bridge) or was that ep10? Then ep12 was just whoa! Guess that’s why I loved this show so much, nothing to dissect or critique on but just enjoy it. Again, kudos to entire cast and crew for all their hard work!

Well said… and I hope the newer audiences give it a chance after reading your comments. All the characters, the martial arts, the story, and as you said costume and music, the overall production put together very well. I’m loving it!

The fact that they just talk so fast is funny as heck! And even more funny for me personally when I end up rewinding scenes over just to laugh at it a second or third time. Currently on Ep10, the “lunch date” alone was too much, ML actor KDY… he is one of the best! ❤️

Just completed my 2nd watch! It’s an Allen Ren Marathon for me this Thanksgiving… I just love this guy! And something about his uniform in this show made me swoon every time LoL Learned that lots of C-Dramas are prettyyyyy long but once you get past all the in between scenes which is what I end up doing on multiple watches, I’m reminded of how much I liked the show in the first place.

My second watch. Yeah, quite long in episode count but it’s a pre Thanksgiving Allen Ren Marathon for me, ha! One and Only, Forever and Ever now airing on Viki so hey, why not rewatch Under the Power too ;)

This guy reminds me of Dylan Wang. Just watched Zhao Lusi’s FSAIC and thought he did well 👍🏼
