Title Mr. Queen Spoiler
Holy jesus how did I not notice that. Good catch.
Also some sloppy editing with the scene b/w Byeong In's soldier friend and Lady Choi. His kick doesn't actually connect and it was very visible. Ugh, it's not like I want to nitpick. I'm usually the kind who would rather be oblivious about onscreen goofs. It's just that I start noticing everything when the story stops making sense to me lol.

Are we even watching the same drama??
Pretty sure we are. I just have more rational reactions to the things I like.

i only agree with the main character thing and it's super annoying how people cry about the king's screentime,…
Thanks for being a good sport about the things you didn't agree with, at least <3

What! "He's not even THE main character??" Nope! actually, he is. Both are mains. What's wrong with you?
No, what's wrong with YOU for being so worked up about something so trivial (◔_◔) He's A main character. He's not THE main character. Know the difference.

Title Mr. Queen Spoiler
Both SHS and KJH are leads of this drama. Even it is female centered drama, but both So Young/Bong Hwan and Cheoljong…
Nowhere in my comment did I say that Byeong In is the male lead what are you talking about? It's just ONE episode where KJH had less screen time, and it was all for the purpose of making a (mostly) coherent story line. Please calm down. They NEEDED to allot some time to Byeong In because they have barely established him as a villain before this episode. He wouldn't be a believable threat to the protagonists if he just appeared for all of 5 minutes every episode. (◔_◔)

You know what else we should actually complain about instead of KJH's absence? The very visible wire harness on Na In U when he was looking down the cliff lmao

I don't get everyone who's complaining about the lack of Cheoljong, like??? He's suppose to be presumed dead, of course we won't be seeing him?? He's not even THE main character; that's So Young/Bong Hwan. What y'all SHOULD be complaining about is the fact that the writers suddenly abandoned any pretense at consistency with their villains. Like @writers please decide what you want to do with the Grand Queen Dowager/Queen Dowager/Kim Jwa Geun because they all sit around "plotting" stuff but nothing actually happens with ANY of their ~evil plots. I don't understand any of their motivations and I don't feel like their beliefs are even fundamentally opposed to those of the main leads. They wasted any potential Jo Hwa Jin might have had. Like I love that they let her come to terms with the King's feelings with dignity and didn't let her go down the evil scorned woman trope, but then?? Before that she never even felt like a factor that would come between the King and Queen. How am I suppose to believe that the King feels so broken up by her leaving when he's all but forgotten about her existence after he and the queen had sex?

That whole rebel uprising subplot was also not given enough screen time to be compelling. And for heaven's sake PLEASE decide whether you want Byeong In to be evil or not like?? WHAT IS UP with that preview????? HUH???? WHY IS HE FIGHTING HIS OWN SOLDIERS?? WHAT?????

But Yusuke Santamaria's villain is such a high bar to top. I don't think they're ever going to pull off another villain like him, considering Season 2's villain was so meh. I think they kind of make up for it in other aspects this season, though. I feel like Season 3's episodes are more introspective and character-driven. They've brought the focus back to the team members and made them more involved in the cases (where in past seasons, it was mostly just Ishikawa who was shown to have an emotional connection to the cases they solve.) I think Episode 8 showcased this best, so I'd love to know what you think (and whether it changed your opinion) once you've seen it.

it takes time and effort for one person to sub such a long episode in a foreign language... yes, it takes a lot…
Omg I didn't know about that justpaste.it site I've been despondently refreshing dramanice, bagikuy and nyaa for DAYS with no luck. Thank you!! Will check it out later <3

Not talking about the fansub at all since I watch this one raw. I fully understand the rigours of the fansubbing process so you will never hear me complain about slow subs. But I am a poor drama viewer with no access to the fancy member's only torrent and upload sites, and I was simply wondering why no one is uploading the new (raw) episodes in my usual streaming/downloading haunts. Not complaining, mind. Just a general expression of dismay about the situation.

this is exactly how I feel too xD Takagi's face xDedit: I would love to see the fanfic too xD
When I saw the preview in Episode 4 and it looked like they were gonna deal with a creepy killer of women and Takagi was beating him up, I knew I was in for a treat :D.

Don't encourage the fanfic it'll most probably be very bad lol (and NSFW. O_o that scene and Takagi's face are giving me the absolute WORST ideas do NOT encourage it)

I never thought of them in this way and this drama will never show them together probably but this is a cool ship.…
Don't I know it :( but that's on me for shipping something from a crime drama, of all shows haha. I'm still repressing the fanfic writing urge but who knows? Maybe if this season frustrates me enough lol

I expect nothing but the smallest of crumbs from this show shipping-wise, but I have to say, as a high-key Ishikawa and Takagi shipper, episode 5 was good enough to give me almost a whole teaspoonful :D I'm guessing that would be it for the rest of the season though :( As usual all I can do is actively repress the urge to write fanfic lol

So he just wanted to prank his younger brother to feel the same way as he felt, like for just a moment?? It's…
I still haven't seen the episode subbed (I'll get to it later today), but I watched the unsubbed episode 5, and I think Tachikawa said something about his back hurting from the bomb. I think maaaybe it's a reference to the events in Episode 4, so I'm guessing Tachikawa and Neko got to the bomb before it went off? You're right about 4 being a confusing episode. The ending really threw me off. They could have added some more scenes to make it have more sense.

I got too excited to wait for subs for 3 and 4 so I watched both raw. Though I can understand only half of what's…
I thought for sure the girl would die from the bomb? They played Kenshi Yonezu's 'Lemon' and everything and I was getting ready to get emotional lol but she survived? I missed something, didn't I?
