So far I've watched 19 minutes and 32 seconds, I like it! I'll keep you posted if you want. π
Hi! Honestly I liked the story line. It had so much potential to be better, but those discrepancies, Joseon timeline, and a few other things ugh. There's a few minutes with the Crown Princess that actually made me cry. I felt it had an impact, not just on me but all women, imo.
I figured out the approximate year this was supposed to be in. King GoJong would be the perfect fit, 1864-1907. The Airedale Terrier dog for one only came about in England 1864ish. Hang gliding 1883 and so on and so forth.
Writing is not my forte. Lol
I'll wait for you to finish it. I've got time. Lol. I used to watch kdrama episodes every week, but I wait until it's over to watch. I can watch at my own pace and not have to jones for a week waiting for a new episode.
I also still have my American TV dramas that I watch.

I'm on episode 5. I'm enjoying it. But the time line is so out of whack. Things that were invented in the 1800s were thrown in this drama, along with my second comment about the first episode and Gisaengs, which the year of what I mentioned would have been in the very early 1900s. But I am enjoying it. I don't jones for it like I did Queen Woo, or Love in The Moonlight, The Moon that Embraces the Sun etc....
I want to make something clear about this drama. Who ever wrote that the Gisaeng in this was a prostitute is most definitely wrong. This is Joseon before Japanese colonization. The word prostitute was never associated with Gisaengs before that time period. Gisaeng were considered artists and performers. The writer should have known this, instead of defaming.

It's a very different historical drama that I have ever seen. Lol Nudies? Drawings close up? Vivid descriptions? Interesting in deed LOL I will keep watching and check in every other episode.
