Yeah, he'll do well because this character seems closer to his personality... he's quite silly in real life too. As for the leads, I don't know them either. However, I heard the female lead has previously played a role in an action-packed drama and was good in it (though I don't know the name of that drama). As for the male lead, I have no idea how he is. And don't worry, I don't think YA's role will be like that, because it's not exactly a love 'triangle'. I'm not sure if this information would be considered a spoiler, so I don't know if I should tell you more. But yeah, it has a unique storyline. I'm curious and excited to see how GJM will adapt it on screen.

I'm halfway through the novel, and so far he has very few scenes, but I heard in the latter half he gets more scenes.. I was really disappointed at first because I wanted to watch this drama mainly for him. But then I came across some comments saying GJM made a lot of changes from the book, like giving Yan An a bigger role and making him the second lead. They've also developed his storyline and romance arc, which gives me hope. So don't worry, we'll definitely get to see more of him. And as for the novel, at least up to this point, I don't think he's a villain...

I'm currently reading this book.. It's mainly focused on FL.. romance part is there, but it's on the sidelines (at least so far).. FL is such a cool, badass, ruthless assassin, and the whole thing is heavy on action, politics, and mystery. It's dark but interesting...
