gang what the fuck was that

If catharsis was a show

choosing to watch this at 1am may be the dumbest thing I've ever done that shit was terrifying no thank you

loved it omg. Would love to read the novel too, looks like it has no eng translation tho

could also call it catharsis. fuck yeah for [rapists and rapist accomplices] getting what they deserve. JuYeon girl I hope you sleep peacefully the rest of your life

Lee Joon Hyuk finally booked and busy! Lets go!!

lets go pookie lets go

thank you so much!

so instead of editorials yall are just gonna publish unconfirmed rumors now? is this who we are?

I believe a show should stand on its own legs outside of that. I can acknowledge that there is a lot of good in the show, hence why I mentioned that Patk Sung Hoon had probably the best performance of the season, but that doesn't make up for the deficiencies it lacks compared to season 1. It can be ground breaking and still lack luster, especially when it is coming off the back of an already ground breaking first season.

100%!!

when I say unique I mean unique to the series - the first season had a distinct style and voice, this one does not.

IM BACK. Detective and Front Man have survived for now, but we did end on a cliffhanger

'squid game bad' this and 'squid game good' okay but we got top rapping in 2024 do you know how much of a win this is

I'll try to let you know when I get there! only in ep 2 rn but slapper mans death was deadass the ending point of ep 1

queen I have bad news for you (about slapper man)

never said it wasn't, but I'm allowed to be critical of what I watch. it's not gonna make or break the show for me but a comment section is a place for comments I fear <3

seriously tho what is WITH the music its driving me insane

one ep in and I will say - the music design is super lackluster compared to s1, the intentional use of music was really a hitting point. Now there's a lot of canned music and I really hope its not an indicator of the rest of the season aka netflix got its grubby little hands and tried to make it more commercialized (yes, I did write an entire essay on squid game s1 and I WILL do it again if I have to)

(for what is grief if not love persevering?)
