I think not the haters that are the problem but the plot. people in this age and year do not like tragedy after…
The story is supposed to take a major turn once ML completed the assignment (probably around ep 20) so maybe you just put it on hold for now and check back a bit later. I do that sometimes too when a drama gets too heavy. Some dramas really raised my blood pressure for real 😭

Yeah, I say don't worry about it. Watch what you like and leave fair feedback. As a Cheng Yi fan, I can say most of his fans are open-minded, otherwise I wouldn't be here. But once in a while, you get some wild ones 🙂.
I also watch many other dramas, so I get what you're saying. When you don't really know the actor, you only see the characters/roles, and it's very subjective

I was just thinking about K-pop! I'm not following Kpop or Kdrama so I have no idea, but I always wonder: between Cdrama fan wars and Kpop fan wars, which one is worse? 🤣
I swear people on that website hates everyone 🤣. It's not just Cheng Yi. You can find very hateful articles/posts for all major actors there. It's like a hater club or something. I stopped visiting long time ago.
Haters give extremely low ratings. A normal viewer may give a 5 or 6 to a show they don't care for. A hater will…
Business-wise, yeah, they definitely do. But most big fandoms have their one or two major rivals they can't stand. They all want their idol to be number one in every way, and some of them get pretty nasty, trying to take down the competition.
As for ratings, if a drama's actually good, the dust usually settles over time. The fans and haters cancel each other out 🤣, and you get a more accurate picture from regular viewers. But right after a drama drops and is still airing, that's when things can get pretty intense.
I don't want to say it that why don't we give those fandom's drama one start too🫤🫤🫤???don't mind but…
I couldn't bring myself to do it, but I understand how you feel. I saw some reviews on the first day of this drama, and they were like, "This is the worst drama I've ever seen in my life," and bamm, 1 star. Like, dude, at least neutralize it a little so it's not too obvious you're a hater 😂.
I am at ep.6 now and I love it! The story is fun with lots of action. ML and FML have great chemistry and are so adorable together. I'm especially loving the female lead, she is super cute! With so many big dramas airing right now, I know it's tough competition, but I really hope people give this one a shot, it's definitely worth it!
I just finished this one, and it's a really good Republican era espionage drama! I like the plot, the mystery…
I haven't watched many Republican dramas but did watch a few good ones this year. All of them have weird choppy endings. I swear China is allergic to a complete, happy ending LOL.
Is 7.1 a pretty good score for Douban? I don't have the account so I am not sure how it works. Some of my favorite dramas got shockingly low Douban scores and I don't know if it's just because they have different standard over there or lots of haters or what 🫠
In ep 38, why didn’t ml just bring a camera and take a photo of his three enemy? In this way, he can prove to…
My guess is that his priority was to kill them. Also, the cameras at that time were huge, so it wouldn't make sense to run around with one just in case either. Plus, it was at night. I imagine any cameras back then would be pretty much useless for distance night shots. There were some scenes where he was using tiny pocket cameras, but those were probably for close-up shots only.
I finished this drama a few days ago, and now I can say I loved it from beginning to end! There wasn't a single boring episode! The plot was brilliant and pretty easy to follow. Cheng Yi definitely didn't disappoint, but the other actors, even those in supporting roles, were also wonderful and made this drama worth watching!
