Forgot one thing. Chiyeon said he would do the contrary to what Jiui did, for someone he cared about (meaning he would tell Hari about her grandma's decision for not getting treatment). That's a questionable and dangerous statement from a doctor!

Episode 7 is so heavy, emotionally. I had a lump in my throat the whole time and broke into tears several times; when the grandma said Hari's the reason she could go on living, when Jiui talked about the first time he pronounced death of a child, when Hari poured her heart out to Jiui, and the end of the episode. I can understand all 3 of them, the grandma, Jiui and Hari.

Everyone really did a fantastic job in this episode, the acting, the writing and the editing. I really can't find fault. It's cute how the second couple tried to look out for our main couple. Chiyeon, I liked what you did today (letting Jiui go to Hari house instead of going there himself). And, thank you writer-nim for not having Hari faint in front of the SML. If it happened, it would be really cliché and I would be annoyed as hell.

Agree with you. For the visuals, people have different taste and I won't argue about that. I think he's good-looking, but I wouldn't say he's better looking than the ML (it isn't a contest anyway). Most importantly, his character hasn't done anything to make me swoon, or maybe I should say he hasn't done anything significant to the story, except for making the ML jealous. Not sure if his character will be fleshed out later or not because we only have 5 episodes to go, with the ML's traumatic past still not being addressed.

I like Seo In Guk a lot, but this will be the third office worker roles in a row! I expect a new and different occupation next, please.

What??!!! I think he is good looking and has one of the most unique faces in k-ent. Most importantly, he looks very charismatic when he acts.

Watched up to mid-episode 6. The 2ML's so selfish. He led the FL on, acted like he cared, and even kissed her. But then he left without explanation and dated another woman. He wanted to keep her close, but would not give her any status, knowing full well how she felt and expected. I don't care whatever his reasons will be revealed later. The way he treated the FL is totally unacceptable. He's so bad at communication, worse than a cat!

I don't dislike her. But I don't find her (behaviors) particularly cute either.

Watching BTS makes the waiting for next episodes more bearable. And, if it's the dramas I really like, I'm willing to pay a little. ^^

For long c-dramas I have seen, they release 4-6 episodes on the first day, and then 1 episode almost every day (2 episodes a day for VIP) like 5 days a week. And by the end, they will sell the express package so you can watch 4-6 last episodes at once. Sometimes you need to pay for the extra episode or behind the scenes too. The platforms really know how to make money! LOL

Oh... I didn't know bl dramas have different release pattern. It sounds complicated to follow the drama airings.

There are 4 or 6 episodes released on the first day, plus the express with 4-6 last episodes too. Most c-dramas finish airing in less than a month.

I mostly watch c-dramas in recent years, and I have to always remind myself to be more patient with k-dramas (2 episodes per week) and j-dramas (1 episode a week, which is the worst - you wait until you forget which drama you wanted to watch). LOL

I normally find most village dramas slow and boring, and I don't really watch medical dramas. But I like this drama a lot. Please give it a try and see for yourself.
(Episode 1 is meh for me, but it gets better in later episodes.)

ML doesn't need to be perfect or mentally or physically strong all the time. Otherwise, dramas will be super repetitive and boring. Why can't we have something different? People make it looks like Do Jiui is so flawed that he doesn't deserve to be a male lead character. I think he is very likable and has his own charm. I love this ML character and LJW's performance to the point I want him to finish his (real-life) mandatory military service and give us more projects asap. And this one is the first drama of his that I watch.

Same here about SYE. The only drama of hers that I finished is HIP and I think she has potential. I do check her project list from time to time, but most of the stories doesn't seem to be my cup of tea. Since I enjoy watching this drama a lot, I hope it does well and opens the door to many more good projects for both SYE & LJW.

I know LJW, but haven't really watched any of his dramas. (Alchemy of Souls has always been on my to-watch list because I like the cast, just reluctant to start watching cuz I'm not fond of the idea of changing FL in SS2). I think this is a good project for him before enlistment. His character is likable, the acting is good, and the chemistry with FL is good too. I just wish the drama is promoted better. They rarely release any promotional contents or behind the scenes.

I love that scene where Hari pretended to be ok with Jiui leaving the island and then burst into tears, while Jiui looked at her so adoringly. It's super cute!
