Glad it’s working for you. To be more specific with my complaint, I think his character has a lot of potential and it frustrates me to see episode by episode pass by where this singular conflict surrounding an unrequited crush completely dominates his storyline instead.
It’s a shame they gave an incredibly talented actor like Khaotung a story arc that dominantly revolves around Mew. He’s absolutely killing it with what the script gave him, but they really didn’t give him as much as he deserves.
I’d like to see different aspects of Ray’s life and his trauma get more attention. It feels unbalanced as it is now.
Wtf does Ray think he is??? Where is his audacity coming from? My only care is for Sand, the others can shove…
Ray has become such an insufferable little whiner. I was waiting for the rest of the episodes to add more to his character and they just never did. His entire personality is loving Mew.
My only possible ending for this show is Sand somewhere at a music festival vibing, counting stacks of cash, with…
Completely with you. I’ve spent the first few episodes conflicted since I’d like him to end up with Ray, but the more the series goes on, the more I realize Ray is strictly a taker and their relationship would be intensely one-sided.
I want Sand to have someone who dotes on him and cares for him equally, or for him to be independent and happy on his own.
Sand and Ray sitting across from each other in the tub with both their boxers on cracked me up. It would have been so easy to film the same scene with angles making them seem naked.
You guys have fucked like ten times already, take a normal bath. 💀
I think everyone was expecting the hesistation from Sailom but there is a visible layer of uncomfortableness coming…
Didn't sense any uncomfortableness from the actors either. Sailom's hesitation was super clearly explained in the narrative already, so I'm not sure how anyone was expecting him to react. He was shocked, he was conflicted. We all understand these are emotions the character would be feeling at the time of the kiss.
If he'd instantly, eagerly reciprocated, it'd have felt weird in the context and would have been significantly less interesting than watching him gradually give in. 🤷♀️
genuinely asking, what's wrong with the kiss at the end of the episode? imagine being in sailom's shoes - you've…
I thought it was great. It’s kind of disappointing to me that so many people didn’t like it or thought it was unintentionally awkward in some way. I think it’s exactly what they intended it to be, writers and actors. Stiff and confused and then he visibly melts a little.
I’m personally really enjoying the series. I have my complaints about the pacing and certain story details, but overall I think they’re doing a good job making a fun and lighthearted drama with excellent chemistry.
Maybe it’s not what the marketing implied, but I’m not mad about it.
Okay, I'm about to put my opinion where it is not asked BUT it must be said. Where’s the hate concerning Topmew…
Acting can be a lot more subjective than people assume. It all boils down to a matter of opinion.
I agree with you that Force and Book both understand the character they’re supposed to portray, but I disagree that it’s being done tastefully. Force behaves like a shallow characterization of a player without a shred of individuality in the role. He smirks or cocks his eyebrow before he delivers practically every single line and there’s zero nuance attached to make the character feel convincing. He’s doing his job of playing a jerk, but it’s spoon-fed to the audience so intensely in every single mannerism that I can’t buy the character. It’s tacky like a bad impression and I don’t believe it for a second.
Although Mew may be intended to blend into the background, Book has shown maybe one and a half facial expressions throughout the series and completely belly-flopped an extremely important scene where his best friend was attempting suicide.
It’s possible their performance is working for you and that’s great. For a lot of us, it is pretty damn bad so far.
I never disagreed with any of the points you made. You’re kind of fighting the air here.
