I’m just baffled at the lack of kiss. Really? Why? Every single couple in the other Our Skyy episodes got multiple kisses throughout.
At this point it just feels like they’re uncomfortable with scripting a kiss. All this after Moonlight Chicken, when they even faked one, and then only one tiny kiss at the end of My School President? I thought it was due to their age but now I just don’t know.
I am not someone that needs kisses in a series but when it is very obvious that a show isn't going there it is…
I don't understand why they're doing that. It's like they're very intentionally avoiding any kisses at all, and not just for romantic tension, because they're literally reluctant to script them. What's the point?
can u watch all of it even tho u didn’t watch some couple?
I don’t see why not. You just won’t know the characters and their personalities beforehand, so you’ll basically be picking up halfway through the story.
Certain episodes like Vice Versa will probably be too confusing to be enjoyable, though.
For 3/4 of the VV episodes I thought Our Skyy 2 FINALLY got it right and then the twist happened and I remembered…
I had the same thought. It should’ve been a stray puppy, it would’ve served the same purpose for what they ended up doing.
The fact they teased us with some very rare same-sex parent representation and then excused it away with the stupidest explanation ever was super frustrating. I was on board with the first half, and when the twist was revealed and Jigsaw uneventfully got sent home, it soured the entire thing for me.
Like, what the fuck were the emotionally manipulative montages for if you were just going to have the boys give him up without any reluctance whatsoever? So stupid.
Cute, significantly better than the base series, but I didn’t love the last episode. The twist with where the kid came from could’ve been something much more interesting than that.
Hoping they wrote some new dialogue and scenes for Tinn and Gun in this alternate universe.
Best case scenario, it might be really cute. Like an opportunity to get twice the TinnGun with two canonical universes where they’re off somewhere being adorable. But if it’s the same shot-for-shot and line-for-line, or even mostly the same, that is so incredibly lazy it’s almost insulting to the audience.
I feel kinda crazy for loving this so much when it’s not usually my cup of tea. Mork and Pi are cute, every episode keeps their dynamic interesting. Duean and Meen are the highlights of the entire series, and I definitely wasn’t expecting that since I didn’t like Louis or his chemistry with Neo at all in The Eclipse.
This is actually funny and keeps itself interesting at the same time. Not sure why I’m loving it so much, but this is becoming such a comfort series.
I’m liking these Vice Versa episodes ten times more than the original series. 💀
The writing, editing, acting and chemistry really took a step up here. Nicely done, hoping for this level of quality throughout the rest of the episodes!
For those of you who think this didn't meet expectations, it may largely be because of deliberate choices made by the director. It's directed like an art film.
An artistic style of directing like that usually is divisive. For The Eighth Sense in particular, sometimes conversations or scenes with insignificant yet natural-feeling dialog will drone on in an attempt to make you feel more grounded in the scene— the camera will be angled or linger strangely, it will use color and sound in magnified ways to try and communicate a specific feeling. Cuts can feel sudden and be a complete tonal shift.
It'll resonate with some people, and others just won't like it. Not to invalidate your opinions, you may just outright not like the series for your own reasons, but I think a few of you are mistaking painstakingly calculated art direction with sloppiness and that makes me sad.
The jungle phase was necessary for them to realize their feelings for each other, developing feelings and accepting…
Agreed. That episode not only provided an opportunity for them to get to know each other as people, but also forced them to recognize their feelings.
It’s my favorite episode personally because you quite literally watch them fall in love. It isn’t one of those dramas where they’re suddenly in love because the plot demands it to be so, you can see their fondness for each other grow throughout every interaction. It is so important.
The main character felt hollow and his acting fell flat. The storyline wasn’t strong. I don’t think their dynamic was anything to write home about, and neither of them had strong personality traits. I don’t really see why it has such a glowing reputation, to be honest? It’s glossy and polished with good color-grading, but not a lot under the surface.
Not a bad series by any means, but forgettable. Just my opinion.

I don’t get it.

Fingers crossed, all we can do is wait.
