HPL did everything right. One of my all time favs!

I'm not against them getting together already, i'm just a bit worried. Usually in kdramas, the sooner the OTP get together the more likely they will have a longer drawn out break up before they reunite. I can't handle long drawn out breakups. They're the worst.

as much as it'd be good on paper, american writers would take it and turn it into a five season soap opera instead of staying true to the other versions. so i hope hollywood never gets a hold of it.

there's absolutely no redeeming the witch of a mother in this series. i really hope they don't try. just have her lose everything that she can possibly lose. tbh, tho, i feel she's so far out of the realm of reality, she's never gonna be a better person.

are we gonna get a lbgtq+ fiancée in this version?! please, yes! i'm not gonna get my hopes up or anything, but it'd be really cool!

This makes sense. If this is the way it goes, I can see the ending being like whichever ends the way I posted about in my above question.

If we can't get a straight up happy ending, I hope we get an open ending like Ga Eul and Yi Jung got in the Korean version. It was an open-esque ending, but it was clear that they were gonna be together. So if that's all we can hope for with Kavin and Kaning, I'll take it. Would definitely prefer a straight up happy ending. But I get the feeling our best bet is a GE/YJ ending.

For anyone who has watched the other versions, what kind of ending did the kavinxkaning counterpart ships get?? I know bof ga eul and yi jung got an open but very likely happy ending. The others, I have very little idea about. The only other I have a slight idea about is whichever ends with the girl losing her virginity to him and him actually being touched by it but not changing his ways overall.

this sounds like a good idea. i hope it is done well. last time i trusted a show similiar to it (oh my ladylord - iykyk why i say it seems similiar) the comedy and romance ended up being total crap with the worst ending ever. fingers crossed this ends up being great from beginning to end.. with no one dying!

i am hoping with all the hope i have in me that these two are allowed to get together and be together in the end. so far, i'm most attached to their version than any of the others. kaning and kavin are giving me life in this version!

from what i've seen of bof korean/have read about what i haven't watched and what i know about this one, this one seems the better of the two. tbh, i was only in bof korea for ga eul and yi jung aka kavin/kaning in this version. but this one, although i'm mostly in it for k2, i do like the friendship between f4 a lot more in this one.

I have OCD and for the most part this show has it completely right. LMK going through her house every night checking the stove, the doors, light switches, etc. and the thoughts and the pics/compulsions shetakes to calm herself down if she's out and about and has a breakdown, they're all things i deal with on a daily basis. Meds have helped calm them a bit, but they're still something I deal with on a daily basis. LMK's character is the closest I've seen a show come to getting it right.
