Li Dai Kun really has the best acting skills in this drama !! not that the others are awful but he was the only one able to provoke some emotions in me whereas i didn't feel anything when chong zi cried for example
Tin Xue better die in today's episodes or I'll go through my screen and kill her myself π (ik she probably won't die until the end but man she's so annoying ugh)
why did he accept her as his student again if he loves her romantically?
it's not really that he accepted her again, she just wanted to keep on calling him 'master' because she likes the title and well he said yes because he doesn't care what she calls him as long as she's with him :)
ah yeah you're right I forgot about that for a moment... Well I guess ep 26 is when she begins to act like a demon (again π) and maybe she'll like die soon after that and be reborn
I've seen spoilers for ep 25 and 26 accidentally on tik tok and it just makes me even more impatient because I wanna know how the hell they managed to get to these situations π I hate this new airing schedule lol
I've recently just started watching the drama and I am kind of confused right now. Yin Fan and Chong Zi are both…
I understand what you mean by people with powers usually hiding them from "common" people π I think it's different here because immortals were given the duty to protect them and everyone knows about it, it's like mortal people kind of think of them as gods who live on a moutain which is also why they worship them. Also remember that the immortals recruit disciples by making them take a number of tests and everything but the group went to the mountain by themselves (it's not like someone went down to search for them) so obviously mortal have to know about immortals in order to want to become one of them if that makes sense π
Fully agree with this 100%!! Not sure if it's the screenwriting or if this is the case in the actual original…
I guess we agree on everything lmao because I totally share your opinion on the "bugging" charracters, like it's pretty obvious we're supposed to hate miaoyuan because she has been mean to chong zi since day 1 but I thought that at least she'd change in the second arc considering she has been an immortal for like 20 years I guess ? And I admit I also keep on watching for Jeremy Tsui and his visuals (I did not begin to watch it because of him tho) although I also do find his character a bit bothering at times but I don't really know why π I guess I'm just difficult to pleased lol I too can't wait for chong zi to turn into her darker version because in a way I think it will make her more mature to be kind of a "villain" (even tho i'm not encouraging being a demon ), at least she will stop acting like a child and release all her pent up frustration
I love this series but I unfortunately find chonz zi very childish no matter what life she's living... Ofc she's still young so it makes sense for her to make mistakes and to learn but I sometimes doubt if she's even a teen lol
Like in episode 22 when she felt disappointed because her master said he put the common people above everything else and not her (even tho he admitted some things like 2s later anyways), I mean ofc he must think about vulnerable people who are constantly getting attacked for no reason rightπ ? She should remember that yinfan actually had duties and a life before her (and her 1st version) and that as an immortal his top priority has to remain the people
No hate to the actress or anything she plays really well but I admit it's a bit annoying at times when they make chong zi look a bit stupid and simple or even selfish even tho she's supposed to be more mature and calm in her second life
