ok so the first two episodes are messy (lot of cobbled explanations about the lore, boring overused cgi, the plot episode is just plain bad how can they mess up this badly…), however the story gets back on track in episode 3, both episodes 3-4 are enjoyable for anyone wondering
So Song Mo’s father change his daughter with Song Han and if not mistaken I hear Eunuch said eldest daughter.…
it was hell for me at school since to teach kids how to write they were forcing us to buy a special pen that only right-handed people could use. i can still only write with my left-hand but i have a messy hand-writing since i was never taught well at school. and i’ve also become quite ambivert for others things such as eating, playing tennis… except writing lol.
The scene I’m talking about is near the end of episode 13, when injured Dou Zhao emotionally ran to Song Mo…
i 100% agree with you, i enjoy the drama very much but this scene felt off for all these reasons, they should have meet in a side road more discreetly but it wouldn't have been as romantic and aesthetic i guess haha, however don't worry they won't skip any of the "fun", let's say in this scene they were a bit overwhelmed by everything and didn't care lol
loved the four first episodes, the "fast" pacing is honestly very refreshing (because i've been falling asleep a lot these days in front of cdramas lol)
while people are mad at the ml behavior (which is valid) i'm enjoying we don't have a half cooked half seasoned anti hero as ml for once 😭 is he wrong for what he did to her ? 100% does it make the story more interesting? 100%
i keep reading comments saying miantang betrayed the country with the iron trade? i'm so confused because if i'm not mistaken, didn't cao say in episode 19, prince su asked him to get rid of her because she was starting to know too much of their business? didn't prince su say, that she purposely hid the gold, which would mean she might have started to know and didn't want to help with any imperial rebellion? even ziyu said she was kept in the dark, leading to them arguing... she was indeed smuggling iron, but we don't know why she did that yet and if she knew to what she was actually contributating? she's indeed morally-grey but i believe on my side she only wanted to help the poor with a "eat the rich" mindset and nothing else. as for the "innnocent people" she apparenly killed, we have yet to see her doing that? she was a bandit and was robbing, but robbing doesn't mean killing... we just saw her trying to kill xingzhou in episode 1, and yet again, we don't know why she suddenly tried to kill him when they were only fighting each other for years (and not try to kill each other unless i missed something...) especially, i don't think censors would allow a villain female lead, killing innocent for no reason, to me it's certain she didn't know about the rebellion at first but let's see...
and as for dou zhao, she didn't want people to recognize her handwriting and also being left-handed was considered bad luck
