was doubting whether i should watch this one because i watched so many cross-dressing dramas lol but let’s go, starting this one while waiting for my others drama

i love fujing so much but it looks like she’s taking on all the hateful characters (aka the girl that wants to steal the ML lol) she has strong features and suits these roles but i hope she’ll get different roles before people only remember her as the evil girl lol (this kind of image can be a little dangerous because many people can’t separate well actor vs character and sometimes can’t appreciate an actor after only seeing them in evil roles), she’s really beautiful and can also be perfect for a kind-hearted character!! also i admit i would not say no to a drama with an anti heroine in FL that turns good later (like in handsome siblings)

noooo i was expecting to see an unruly and flirtatious alan yu but i watched the trailer and now i’m sad lol, to my eyes he’s a good actor he just never had any good written character to shine and show his acting skills.... it’s maybe his agency that always casts him in all those cold and emotionless roles or maybe he feels comfy with them i don’t know.... i hope he’ll soon get a character completely different, i mean anyway i’ll still watch the drama it looks fun!

the one he loves (so fl) has to love him back, rescue him (in a sense of putting her life in danger for him) and cry for him (because she doesn’t want to lose him)

episodes 6-7 if i remember well

i don’t know how to explain but the drama is bland? kinda lackluster.... it’s not bad but there is nothing extraordinary about this drama and it took me a while to finish it because i got a little bit bored.... but as i said it’s not bad but it could have been better!

it would indeed be a plot hole this is why i was thinking he might be related and not be the hooded guy himself but mhh i have a feeling he’s the hooded guy (the hooded guy and the high priest have the same chins this is why i started to think it was him lol)

i think i’m reaching but, the high priest is definitely weird, i just have a pressentiment he’s involved in the whole story. since he’s one of characters we see in the flashbacks with fl father (+the emperor) so high priest might be involved in the death of fl father. but seems like something definitely failed at some point for him, and this is where the brother ml enters + this mysterious woman unconscious. (high priest probably uses the emperor as a couverture/to manipulate him)

the only thing that could explain the plot hole, high priest was waiting for the right moment to act, (and it would be related to the twelve signs, maybe she was too young before how to know) but ml got in the way, and he had to plan something else (but the hooded guy said there was only one month remaining i think?)

also her servant seems to have some secrets and related to the fl father or the high priest, there is maybe something going on with them.

if it’s not the high priest then it’s someone who isn’t introduced yet and ml brother is related to him...

i’m praying there won’t have any plot hole and everything will make sense!

why do i have the feeling the doctor taking care of her is related to the hooded guy...... how can they know everything about fl after all...... the only ones who know about her conditions are the doctor, her servant and her brother (and now her husband)

there is just an obvious lack of chemistry between them, the way they look at each other is more friendly than romantic. (the last episode made me cringe....) i didn’t really vibe with the storyline, i would say for a romantic focused drama the romance is lacking and the revenge story is not strong enough, the reason behind the death of her parents doesn’t really make sense, so you can’t really feel compassion. but it’s still an okay drama, i liked the ml brother.

it’s hard to say because the one in feng wu body doesn’t seem to be remember anything except she’s good in medicine.

she doesn’t seem to be dead but unconscious waiting to awake.

i really like feng wu, she’s bold, clever, a strong personality with a kind heart, she knows her weaknesses but tries to get stronger, doesn’t wait to be saved but go save and help people without thinking twice. i like when she gets mad haha, she became powerful it’s nice to watch.
i would say we don’t see this kind of female characters often in chinese dramas especially “comedy” ones so it’s refreshing.

chaoyue does really well with the acting, the character suits her perfectly to my eyes. just kinda funny how she was supposed to look “ugly” in the first episodes, wavy hair, tanned skin and freckles are not ugly at all, we can all agree she still looked really cute.

comments are saying the storyline is slow but i think the pacing is quite good, even a little fast? i wish they waited a little more before her phoenix sword became all pretty in iron but then not many episodes for this drama sadly.

also i think the real feng wu is slowly waking up and taking over her body when the medicine student is unconscious.... (btw we don’t know the name of the medicine student and seems like she forgot her name?) the real feng wu seems to have quite a cold, arrogant and serious personality compared to the current feng wu so i wonder if their two personalities (+her memories) will blend together later so she gets to know what happened to feng wu with qing luan.... anyway i really like this drama lol

her rival tried to kill feng wu (fl), while she was dying, she got possessed by a medicine student.
that medicine student didn’t know about anything in this world including her own name (feng wu), this is why she’s oblivious to everything.
the only things she knows from this world are from her master, servant, the grandpa and probably her mum.
it said that she didn’t know where to look for the celestial fruit because there was no hint of its localisation during all these years.
she didn’t lose her memory this is what everyone believes around her since “feng wu doesn’t remember anything” but it’s actually not feng wu in feng wu’s body. however it seems like the real feng wu is not dead and is slowly waking up.

i just noticed this while registering the number of episodes i watched lol, if it's really 59 episodes we're in for a long time (i prepare tissues already)
