Title Must You Go?
webdrama but the quality of a tv drama ! the first two episodes are so well executed, the historical and modern parts, the comedy vs angst, plus the modern & traditional music, all the actors are doing a great job so far, can't wait to see the next episodes, i hope it won't be too rushed since there are only 8 episodes

i liked episode 2 as well, if you didn’t like the first two episodes it’s better for you to stop watching,…
i like how the drama portrays some realistic situations in korea? i read and watched some stuffs about it, even if you don’t like it and don’t understand it well, men being overprotective (even if most of the times it’s the woman), men cheating and not feeling bad, different treatment between men and women at work (the thing mentioned in episode 1 about how a man and a woman would not get the same reactions if a romance office happened), parents depending on their children and thinking they own them (so sort of toxic relationships)... it does exist and if i’m not mistaken it even happens quite often.

episode 2 was interesting because the cheating isn’t a simple cheating, it’s clear enough. despite being dishonest, jaeshin loves songah, she’s his first love. he’s marrying hyojoo because his boss asked him (more like forced him), i love how he said his friendship with jaewoon isn’t a real one, it’s obvious it’s quite unhealthy. i believe he’s marrying hyojoo because he doesn’t want to lose his job and hyojoo is basically blackmailing him? on top of being the basic crazy obsessed second fl. she said she’s ready to do everything to get what she wants and it makes me curious if her suicide attempt was even real or if it wasn’t just completely orchestrated. at the end, jaeshin is clearly going to lose everything, he seems he’s being cheated by hyojoo the way he’s cheating on songah so it’s interesting.

i wish they had made hyunseung younger in the drama, not because i like senior junior relationships (i don’t care for that) but because it can explain some of his immature behaviors. i mean yes she did ask hyunseung how to get revenge on jaeshin but is dating him in return going to fix anything? it’s clearly not a good idea and i think some viewers might believe he’s using this situation to get closer to her, we know in the web novel it’s the opposite since he’s asking her to use him to get back to her boyfriend but still, isn’t it a win-win situation at the end? all the relationships definitely seem quite dramatic and a bit toxic. for my part it makes me curious i really like how the relationships are flawed, it’s a bit funny because even if it might not be the aim of the drama it’s actually quite realistic in a way since most of my relationships didn’t work and were toxic lol. so anyway don’t watch the drama if you’re not up to that, i’ll personally keep watching.

i liked episode 2 as well, if you didn’t like the first two episodes it’s better for you to stop watching, the comments section is stopping many people to give a try and it’s a bit sad. the drama is following the web novel so if you don’t like the plot of the web novel the drama is not for you, and yes as a result the drama is cliche. if you hate cliche dramas it’s not for you, don’t expect something crazily original from this drama it’s adapted from a web novel that isn’t original to start.

if episode 1 was quite rushed for episode 2 it was the contrary, it was quite slow but i enjoyed the pace a bit more for my part. i wish some scenes of episode 1 were put in episode 2, it would have let more time for details in episode 1 such as the leads relationship, the birthday night, i think with more details people wouldn’t have think hyunseung is creepy (i still don’t think he’s creepy since his behavior can easily be explained but we’re allowed to have different pov)

the drama is heavily inclined toward romance especially dramatic (even revenge) romance so if you don’t like romance and expect others things than romance well the drama is not for you.

i really like how the second episode clearly tells you hyunseung behavior is not okay, his sister tells him it wasn’t the right way to do things, fl told him to fuck off and to not middle in her business, she doesn’t forgive him for quite some time, doesn’t talk to him, completely ignore him, she clearly wanted to slap him (her scene in the elevator), but she didn’t do it. she reacted to the situation the way i wanted her, also i do appreciate hyunseung knew it wasn’t right and that she was going to hate him because of that. it’s obvious he’s really impulsive and the type to act before thinking enough, he has flaws and he knows it, i personally appreciate to not see a perfect ml especially one who recognizes his behavior isn’t the best and directly apologizes. he did feel bad because he doesn’t want to hurt her, doesn’t want to lose her and at the same time doesn’t want her to keep being cheated, he felt like it was something that needed to be done so even if you don’t like his decision i personally can’t hate him for wanting to say the truth. (he knew how she would react and was scared but to him the truth had to be revealed, wether you like it or not, wether it was right or wrong, he did it and regretted but it helped her to know her boyfriend is not honest and has no intention to be. it’s not like ml had ill intentions, he clearly wants the best for her since he likes her but since he’s no one to her but her junior at work it makes the things complicated)

Title She Would Never Know Spoiler
i liked the first episode a lot for my part but since i read many negative reviews about hyunseung behavior, i’ll…
his “creepy” behavior doesn’t seem that creepy to me, why? they’re quite close, it’s obvious even if they didn’t show it a lot in this episode. he already acted as if he was his boyfriend and she didn’t even get that upset which shows they have a good and close relationship.
i do agree him removing his lipstick was agressive and the whole “sunbae don’t put on that lipstick” scene could have been introduced in a better way, less rude more cute but i think it also shows the vibes the drama wants to take: dramatic. if i was her i would have slapped him (which i think she will do, the drama doesn’t say his behavior is okay, i watched the preview for episode 2 and it seems she’ll make him understand his place) but also he’s clearly overwhelmed by the whole situation like you can tell easily (he can’t sleep, he needs to get water on his face), “why isn’t he just telling her” because first of drama it’s a drama lol you’re already saying they show too much in the first episode... he doesn’t even know if he should tell or not since it’s clear he doesn’t want to hurt her since she’s so in love. for some he might be overacting, but if his feelings for her are intense well his reactions are ok. (go read some stuffs about people having big crushes on someone, you’ll understand his reactions including the one where he can’t stop looking at her...)
he just learned the woman he loves for long, and was about to confess to happen to, already have a boyfriend (so let’s keep in mind he’s heartbroken when he had high hopes). while he was about to give up on her (so knowing his boundaries), he happens to see her boyfriend, not only cheating on her BUT also planning to get married, the situation is relatively serious and highly sensitive (like come on now...). and the day after, he gets to know she dreams of getting married to her boyfriend ( looking for dresses) who is about to marry another woman... how can he tell her like that, will she even trust him? definitely not, we know she trusts her boyfriend and her best friend telling her her junior is in love with her won’t help, she’ll just believe he’s jealous and wants to mess around, she also said at the beginning he’s a trouble maker. it’s so much to take, so i understand why he doesn’t tell her directly and why he just spills stuffs when he’s upset. plus he already provoked her boyfriend, he expected him to react, but he didn’t care, kept lying to her... i do get why hyunseung is so upset. not everyone feels anger the same way, many people have less control on themselves when they’re upset, personally i have an explosive type of personality and it seems to be hyunseung case too, he just can’t keep this to himself after all.
the part where he follows her, i can understand why some find it creepy but didn’t he just want to confess to her.... he invited his teammates to his birthday instead of his friends just to confess to her that night, but she suddenly leaves. plus considering the drinking culture in korea and with many people walking drunk in the streets late at night, i personally chose to believe he started to be worried because she just drank and seemed upset or at least not fine, he didn’t follow her with any ill intention or to discover something about her, he wanted to confess but she kept walking in darker and darker streets... it’s not as if he was expecting to see her with her boyfriend, he even said “it’s dangerous” while she kept walking in the dark, when he saw she was meeting her boyfriend he just left, leaving them alone, if he was that creepy he would have stayed or could have done worse.
also about him picking this place because she works there. he was looking for a place where to work (all the students going inside this classroom had this intend) he was about leave the room but she told him to stay, she was a nice sunbae since the first day they met, he thought it could have be nice to work under her? he was looking for a place where to work in any case so why not her place since she’s so kind and also pretty?
also the point where they don’t have any chemistry let’s wait a bit? for now she doesn’t care about him (he even said it himself “so this is why she doesn’t care about me”) why would she look at him with lovey-dovey eyes when she’s in love with another man. i think however we can (really really easily) tell hyunseung really loves her lol, so we need to wait the moment where she’ll start feeling attracted to him to judge their chemistry.
anyway i do get why some people don’t like his behavior but personally this is how i interpret it. i don’t think we should judge their relationship by how little was showed in the first episode tbh.
and yes i’m excited for the second episode!

as someone who watch any type of dramas (light to heavy ones), this one is obviously light and focused on comedy, so i don’t think serious kdrama fans people should expect too much from this drama, especially considering the webtoon, if you didn’t feel the first episodes it’s definitely not for you. for my part i really enjoy it so far, this type of drama manages to make me laugh and feel for the fl, i relate to her on some parts since i’m myself someone who depends lot on makeup to not feel ugly lol. somehow i have a feeling that all those cliches and cringey scenes are somehow a bit sarcastic, it’s like a hyperbole of everything we already know and we’ve already seen in others kdrama so the viewers know what’s going to happen and i think it’s made on purpose, the comedic effect is so omnipresent that you can’t take those scenes seriously (have no idea if what i said makes sense but you get the point) the cast really does a good job portraying the webtoon characters, i’ve been a fan of moon gayoung for long (she’s personally the reason why i’m watching the drama) and she’s just excellent in her role, episode 3 really showed it. i’m excited for the next episodes, so far the drama didn’t disappoint me a bit.
