here my opinion after watching 22 episodes: if i wasn’t at the beginning, i sadly started skipping most of the drama and mostly watch the main couple scenes and also the ones with his brother and the stylist (i like their story but i wish there was a bit more drama she gave in so easily despite his trashy behavior…) the drama is good, i feel relaxed watching it, but i think it lacks something, apparently the drama is following quite well the novel so it’s probably why i feel this way since the reincarnation theme is censured and you can easily tell. i personally enjoy zsc character, i find him cute and the intimate scenes are more than enough to me but i can understand why it’s an issue for others, their relationship lacks the magic the reincarnation theme was supposed to bring, the intensity and deepness of one and only is not found here, their second life is supposed to be sweet but it’s unfortunately a bit bland? their love life doesn’t make me drown in my feels, it’s cute and healthy but that’s about it. also i don’t like the way the drama started justifying the mum behavior in episode 22? as if to tell us “she isn’t all that bad” when she definitely is… i wonder if the remaining episodes are going to bring something dramatic suddenly or if they will keep this monotonous tone
just watched the first episodes and i have to admit i’m surprised to still see this kind of drama in 2021… just how many times zhao lin going to play those mean ceo rude to the fl for no reason, i really like this actor but it feels like watching the same characters again and again, idk if it’s his agency picking his roles but even in historical drama most of his characters are rich, cold and rude, i wish we could see him play something different … and for a fl who is supposed to be smart she just can’t think rationally, for how long is she going to accept being treated by the ml like this, the narrative “she sees something in him that others don’t” despite not knowing him at all is very shallow and unrealistic… the plot is already very cliche and done many times before but i’m always up for light romance dramas, it’s a pity the two leads personality is cliche as well … i’ll try watching a bit more because maybe it’ll get better
two first episodes were amazing, everything is captivating, the child actors did such a good job! i really like the plot so far, it’s so interesting and next episode preview looks really nice too, looking forward the next episodes impatiently!!

dilireba character is sooo adorable and nice, she fits jing jing so well, for yang yang character the aerospace theme is interesting, i like that he doesn't play a rich character and has to deal with his dream or making money, it's an interesting pov to see a character with a big brain and that struggles with his career, a good and realistic perspective, i like the slow-burn especially on yu tu side because it's very subtile and you can see him slowly falling for jing jing, they're really cute and comfortable together, i hope we will get some cute kiss scenes !
